I booked a group tour but turned out to be a one-on-one. The experience was authentic and my guide, Ramesh, was awesome. He was full of knowledge, and very accommodating. The weather was really hot but he helped me carry water and umbrella while we explored the different sites. Really enjoyed the time there.

Ramesh had an amazing amount of knowledge about the monuments we toured and took the time to make sure we understood the significance of the history and culture of each one. We learned so much about the incredible stone carvings and also about the engineering process and labor involved in the building of them. It was interesting to learn more about the religious beliefs and practices. We would highly recommend Ramesh for your walking tour.

He was responsive to expressed interests and even helped me get my eyeglasses repaired after an accident during my flight! The private tour was definitely money well spent. Ramesh was a wonderfully thorough guide who explained the history and meaning of each of the sites at Mahabalipuram. He took the time to answer questions and let us explore areas independently as well.

Really enjoyed ourselves on this tour. Ramesh did a really good job explaining the history and architecture to us, with the bonus of occasional jokes! Appreciate that he gives us the time to soak in the sites without rushing. Would recommend this tour with Ramesh for sure.
