Corfú Norte: E-Fat Bike Autoguiada por Panoramas Únicos

We are currently staying in Acharavi and whilst walking around the village we saw an advert for Corfu Fat Bikes. We decided one morning to walk up to see if they had availability. Straight away we were greeted by the lovely Steve who was extremely welcoming. Even without pre-booking we were welcomed. Steve took the time to explain the cost and all the information we needed. Such as the pre-loaded routes we could choose from. On Steve's recommendation we decided to take the Old Perithia route and we are so glad that we did! The views both on the way and the way back are stunning with plenty of opportunities for photos. Once we arrived at Old Perithia we were amazed. The little village is small but gorgeous and full of history with the most welcoming of people. We ended up staying for a couple of hours before heading back via the beach. Thank you Steve and team. We had a fantastic day and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Had a great day out on the bikes. They’re super comfortable and have enough power to assist up some decent hills. I did have concerns due to needing a knee replacement within the next 6 months but with comfortable bikes, ‘fat’ tyres and the power boost, I needn’t have worried - it was both do-able and good fun!

Without any doubt Sam and Steve are amazing as is the idea and the bikes! I have reduced mobility and I emailed Sam a couple of times before asking if we can grab a parking space and on arrival Sam was lovely and super friendly and put us in a reserved car parking spot. It's so nice to also not need to pay before and pay on arrival, a similar thing we done on Sark was a bit stressful as I had to reserve and pay on the day so that was really nice! We did the Perithia route, I must admit I'm surprised by how much of the route up was on the main roads, I'm not sure why I thought it would be off the main roads but do be aware that it's on the roads for a fair bit (I guess that's what it is and not much can be done) but just to make others aware.. The bikes have plenty of power but I didn't like being on the main road really, the website does clearly state this route is no beginner route but I thought I'd manage it .. I'm sure Sam can advise other routes more suitable for sure! Also be advised even at top boost level going up there's still a lot of peddling and I really did struggle in a couple of place but that's just my poor health, my partner managed OK and I think never hit level 5 although we was a bit worried about battery life so he peddled more than most I think (although we didn't need to worry as we did have plenty and Sam promised to fly out a new battery to us if needed). It was lovely to reach the top and I felt a real accomplishment and the village is an interesting walk around (if not a little touristy though but we had a lovely lunch at one of the taverna's). Going down was huge fun! well worth the struggle up amazing scenery and the bikes felt very capable. We stopped a lovely little beach. Annoyingly my phone went flat and I felt we didn't know how much time we had left, I do wonder if somehow the GPS system can give us an ETA back somehow so we know how much time we have left but we did return to the beach later on in the holiday and spent more time there, so we didn't miss much and I think we still have a good amount of time.. Highly recommended beach for sure! Coming back we struggled a little at the abandoned monastery, it was overgrown and we was attacked by mosquitoes, our fault but where we was staying we didn't have these so didn't have any repellent on or with us. I think I ended up being a bit sick from the bites from these sadly. We was tempted to go back and do another day but ran out of time this time around. Sam and Steve again are lovely and passionate about the business and it's lovely to support them. We still did enjoy the day and it was excellent value for money but we wasn't prepared enough! Highly recommended still. But if you do the Perithia route, be prepared to peddle and take a ton of insect repellent! We be back next time and I bet we still do the Perthia route again!

We have visited Corfu many times but we were keen to experience it in a different way. My husband found Fat Bikes on the internet whilst perusing reviews and we decided to pre book. We liaised with Samantha prior to arrival - what a great communicator. She was prompt in responding to all of our questions and even very kindly agreed to come in on her day off to accommodate our request to align with our agenda. We arrived to be greeted by the lovely Samantha. She was English and so happy to share her local knowledge. The bikes were comfortable, fully maintained and provided with a lock, helmets, water and a padded seat 😊 Our self guided tour was so easy. The iPad screen vocally prompted us with directions, alongside points of interest. We did the Nymfes waterfall tour, which took us through amazing olive groves and up through the mountains. The bikes were electric with a twist throttle to assist in more challenging areas. You have to ghost cycle but it was the most amazing and pleasant experience. The views were insane. We highly recommend this activity. Samantha & her family has put in a lot of work to make this a great experience. Thank you. 🤩

Had a fantastic experience with Corfu Fat Bikes, picked the Kassiopi trip. It was a joy from start to finish exploring the beautiful scenery of the area. The bike ride was smooth and flawless, well maintained bikes with good power and great brakes. Following the voice prompts for directions was easy too, you couldn't get lost if you tried, anyone that loves biking will be delighted rest assured. They even organised a lift for me back to the villa in Arillas. 100% happy and would recommend highly Richie Hayes Ireland.

What an amazing way to see the island. Even overcast and a little rain it was awesome and in fact added to the experience. Don’t be put off if you’ve never ridden an electric bike before the instructions given before were excellent. Unfortunately we forgot insect repellent and went to the monastery by accident but we will always remember that.

Oh we wanted so much to love this! But alas our GPS stopped working about 15 minutes into the ride. We kept trying to get it to work while continuing to cycle but eventually we had to return since we didn’t know the way. Then their credit card machine was malfunctioning so we couldn’t get a credit on our credit card! In the end, however, we received a cash refund and this was perfectly fine for us. The folks who set us up to ride are lovely and friendly but the company needs help with its technology!

Brilliant day out, with some beautiful views on the way to old perithia, it was definitely worth the effort up the mountains

This was absolutely amazing. I was a little nervous about the transportation and getting there and back (we had them take care of our transfer), but they had everything handled. The actual experience was something that I would turn around and do again today, even though we have left the port. One of the best things we have done on our cruise itinerary!!! Do it!!! These are the best people and this is great fun!

Samantha, the owner, was really welcoming and helpful. We chose our route with her guidance and I’m so glad we went for a more challenging ride! We managed to get lost - twice - but Steve was amazing and came to put us back on track, with a smile on his face every time. The bikes are brilliant and really helped us get through the toughest climbs. Coming down was exhilarating and a bit scary! I felt fabulous at the end of the ride and can’t wait to do it again! Thank you for the highlight of my holiday.
