Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two. Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

This was so much fun. Our 12 yo granddaughter was hesitant about getting on a Segway. Bobby was very patient with her and helped build her confidence till she gained her comfort zone. He shared interesting history of the park during the tour and insured our safety at all times. It was so much fun we didn’t want it to end!

This was an awesome experience. Bob, our tour guide, was extremely professional and very knowledgeable with the park and its surroundings. We saw and learned things we would have missed if we were walking. He made the trip fun and felt safe on our segways!

Interesting tour through the park. After Bob explained the use of the Segway's and some practice runs in a parking lot our group of Segway beginners took off through the park. Bob knows the park in an out and we made frequent stops where he shared park history and info about the animals with the group. With Segway confidence growing the group went from stop to stop on pavement, through grass and on trails. The tour took about 2 hours, was fun and educational. My wife and I truly enjoyed the trip. We had no issues as absolute Segway beginners.

They should be prepared to have a great tour guide who was very informative about the history. He was prompt, trained us well for the journey

A lot of fun and a good learning experience if you've never operated a Segway! If you wear shorts or short sleeves use bug spray as the mosquitos or whatever they were were quite vicious! Appreciated the photos Bob took & actually sent to us - lots of gators!

I took the tour with Bob and a separate family group, and it was great! Bob was very knowledgeable and took us around the park, Atalaya castle and nature center. I've been on multiple Segways before, but Bob took the time to teach and make sure everyone understood how to ride safely. He also took several videos and pictures of us on our own phones, and he definitely knows the best places to get videos! We learned a lot about the park, the Spanish Moss (don't touch it!), spotted some alligators and even the people who were learning for the first time and wobbly at first could go on the easy forest trail at the end! Would recommend this tour, it's a great way to see the park without doing a whole day of walking.

Bob was very knowledgeable about the park and the history. Very simple to learn and ride as well. This is a good activity for families to learn about the area and not have to walk.

We had Bob as our tour guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on the park, the Huntington's, and the area. He took time to make sure everyone learned how to ride the Segway's properly & safely. He also took several pictures and 2 videos for each person on the tour. Great experience & when I'm in the area again I would definitely book another tour with Myrtle Beach Segway.
