Went on the guided tour 10/12/25 and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. The mine was truely amazing. We heard some horror stories about other tour companies but Discover Krakow were really good during and leading up to our visit, we can’t fault them at all.Our. Karolina was really good also. She was lovely and we were lucky to have her! Thank you!

If you want a break from the Christmas markets and shops do the salt mines well worth a visit and will kill a couple hours. Tour guides are really good and full of information, make sure you wear sensible shoes lots of steps and some steep slopes

Guide on bus is a poor communicator. Did not tell us where to meet her after the tour of the mine. Thirty plus people waited for half an hour in the cold. When the guide did arrive, she said, “I sent you all a WhatsApp message!” Nobody received it. Clearly her error, but no apology. Bus was late. Very poor ending to the tour. In the mine, the tour guide was bordering on abusive in the way she spoke to guests. Know that English is not her first language, but someone without the finer nuances of English should not be leading an English tour.

You have been warned. We were not advised beforehand otherwise we would not have booked. You need to be fit and ready to walk at least 5 miles of uneven tunnels and 800 steps and that does not include the half mile hike to get back to your coach park without clear directions where to go and high chance of getting lost. The stress was higher than the enjoyment when your feet are aching and your monotone unenthusiastic tour guide is not adding to the experience. 2 hours of hardly anywhere to sit. Walking boots advised if you do want the challenge.

Excellent trip. Far more than I expected and superb value for money. Our tour guide, Norbert, was very helpful and informative

John messaged us the day before investor a WhatsApp group where he would later send a lot of information on where and when to meet. What to bring and what to expect. I.e. 800 steps down to the chambers. He met us where he agreed and was a courteous host. The coach ride was pleasant and he imparted information on some aspects of the town and the history of the mine. The mine was with a different guide was spectacular and well worth the price. An amazing place created by talented and hard working miners. The sculptures and chapels were incredible as was the lift back to the surface. An overall wonderful trip where John played his part well as our host

The pick up location was ideal, it isnt a long drive and once in the mine we had a guided tour guide and it was very informative, there were some very beautiful places inside.
