Haifa

Haifa is a beautiful coastal port city in Northern Israel, very convenient from a logistical point of view to stay in or to sail to by a cruise ship to visit all the significant Christian shrines, such as Nazareth located just in a 30-minute drive, Tiberias with its Sea of ​​Galilee (Lake Kinneret), Cana, Galilee and much more – the sights and places most often mentioned in the Bible! Also, the legendary and beautiful Bahai Gardens can be seen literally from every point of the city!

The city is very hilly, so it is better to use public transport. Buses are accessible for everyone and have retractable ramps.

There are also accessible trains to reach Tel Aviv and Jerusalem fast. If you wish, you can catch a day in Tel Aviv and go to Jerusalem the next day.

Unfortunately, the Bahai Temple is inaccessible owing to the huge number of steps. However, you can enjoy the view of the multi-level terraces from the accessible Louis Promenade on Nof Avenue. There are accessible WCs, but you can get there only from the entrance street side.

There is a huge number of accessible parking spaces both on the promenade and in the city of Haifa.

There is a wonderful accessible for all Dado Sea Beach in Haifa with special parking spaces for people with disabilities, wide and convenient for both elderly and disabled people WCs, accessible beach paths, and beach wheelchairs.
