Our guide Patrick was such a nice, friendly young person with a huge knowlage. The tour itself was very interesting, and professional guided. I highly recomend it if you're looking for some diversity in your time in Amsterdam:)

Patrick was a fantastic guide, bringing lots of energy and knowledge to the tour. You are taken into 1940s Amsterdam and get to understand what it would have been like living at that time. Would very much recommend.

Thoroughly recommend this tour, wow the amount of information and the way it was presented was so engaging. Our tour guide, a lovely friendly chatty guy (whose name escapes me!!) who was genuinely wanting to educate us on Anne Frank, her family and the trials of Nazi Germany. I did the Anne Frank House museum session in the morning, recommend doing both (the museum is not part of the walking tour.

Our tour guide was very informative and did a great job conveying the time and context for the Nazi occupation, the Jewish experience, and the Frank's situation. Highly recommend!

We went on this walking tour with Giovanni. He took care to make sure that everyone was happy and gave an excellent tour accompanied by photographs which illustrated his talk so well. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This is a must do tour! Our group’s guide was Peter and he was top notch at everything. So much knowledge with amazing details and information of that time period and Anne Frank’s diary written while in hiding. The tour was thorough and took us around many parts of what was the Jewish quarters before and during the war. Peter also had a good sized binder with him that included pictures and factual information of Anne, her family, the people in hiding with them and much more. A wonderful visual that Peter shared with all of us. I very much recommend this tour as well as the audio guided tour of the Anne Frank house. Both are not to be missed!

You will learn a lot about the Jewish and local culture and history. Our guide, Yoshi was passionate and well informed about the topic and went beyond to provide interesting local perspective. It is a great way to see parts of the city you wouldn’t normally see. Our small group sent additional time enjoying the sites and understanding the culture. Yoshi’s humor and passion made the tour personal and added to our overall enjoyable experience. As a bonus - you learn addition the rules of bike lane etiquette which will be helpful for the rest of our trip. 😁

There are different language tour guides. We chose English. The tour guide was quite funny and had accurate facts and knowledge about the town of Amsterdam. If you can book an Anne Franke House tour before this walk tour, I highly recommend. It helps give you context on the history of Amsterdam and WWII. We went during the winter time, so be prepared to wear warm clothes and walking shoes.
