Budapest Danube River Sightseeing Night Cruise

This should have been a lovely hour spent in the evening. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a bun fight getting onto the boat. No queueing system and a lot of jostling to be the first on board so that you can get onto the top deck. The head phones for all four of us were not working so we didn’t know what the buildings were that we were seeing. We were promised an extra drink as compensation but that didn’t materialise. Boat was clean and staff friendly

The views and lights were amazing. The boat was comfortable and boarding was easy. Lots of great photo opportunities. The audio guide is pre recorded and didn’t always line up with the views. The service was not good. There were a few beverage options but only one of the four of us got the correct drink order and no one came around to check on us.

Very good value for money a lot of information covered. Times for departure and return were accurate. Great views of the Danube and key historical buildings.

Best way to get epic pics of Budapest at night, very relaxing ride in pleasant breeze, non-alcoholic drinks were decent, try and get a window seat on any level (don’t really have to rush for the upper deck) as the boat does a full u-turn so both sides get the views, staff were friendly and were smiling despite being the last tour of the day at 10pm . . . Didn’t like that almost all seats had big stains on them

The trip/ boat was okay but for the fact that the earphones didn't work due to a poor connection. Tried other earphones and new location but still cutting out. The tour information was not aligned to where you were on the river. And no support during your trip. Advertised as a night time trip with Budapest lit up. But the light's only came on at the end of the trip. And the included drink was very poor. Cheap and tasteless.

Was an amazing evening that we enjoyed thoroughly. The crew is professional and and are punctual and careful with the boat. We got to see the city from another angle as we wined and dined at night. The lights of the various landmarks make a very interesting sight. Actually the food was very good and made it worth every penny.

It's worth it for the river views at night alone. In fact, it's worth it just to see the lights of the Parliament building from the river. It's a very timely trip. Their docking, boarding, off-loading was safe, quick, and efficient. My audio guid cut out frequently to the point I quit using it. But I find this to be a problem on all these trips due to people misusing them. So I won't hold that against the company. Overall, it's worth $30.

We did the 9:30 excursion. Beautiful trip down the river to see the lights at night. Would have give 5 stars but the line to get on the boat was very unorganized and chaotic. We arrived about 30 mins early to queue up so we could get seats on the top deck and when they opened the doors to scan your ticket they allowed people to come in from the exit side and about 40 people from the back of the line jumped in front of us, very frustrating.
