Stunning Sunset or Sunrise Guided Hiking Adventure in Phoenix

great car park - joined national trust so parking was paid for! beautiful sunny day ! HATE the toilets being both male and female as the only spare one was covered in splashed urine. there were plenty there so i cant understand why they would do that. Did litter pick on way down and was s perfect day about 2 hour round trip leisurely with a baby in a sling !

Josh was an excellent guide on our sunset hike in Phoenix! The views were awesome (great photo opportunities) and Mad Desert Trekking made sure we took a trail that was appropriate. As I said, Josh went above & beyond - with snacks, water, walking poles (for that extra assist when needed) and a ton of information about the area - the man knows about plants & rocks! I would recommend this tour to pretty much anyone who can walk. Time and money well spent.

Dalinda was exceptionally organized and made sure we had everything we needed for this trip. She communicated super well to make sure we all met at the right location. Besides being a wonderful guide who is incredibly knowledgeable about the biosphere and terrain, she is amazing at facilitating conversation. I dare say that this was the best hiking tour I have ever taken, and highly recommend it. Between the photos that she took and shared with us, the genuine care she had for our safety and comfort, and her wonderful personality, I cannot recommend this hoke highly enough! Great getaway to the desert while visiting Cubs spring training! Two hour hike, return in the dark was awesome. Our guide Jay was excellent, the hike is a relatively easy 500’ ascent and a winding return to the parking lot. Beautiful view of Phoenix’s metro and awesome sunset 👍🏼

We had a fantastic time on the sunset hike! Mike was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and engaging. He was very adept in sharing his passion for the beautiful plant life we encountered and the historical development of the region. We arrived at the lookout spot just in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset and hear how the city of Phoenix got its name. The view of the city after dark was simply stunning. We highly recommend this experience!

Wonderful sunset hike with Dialinda. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. I learned a lot about the area and the plants & wildlife. Perfect timing for a beautiful sunset. Peaceful. Not too challenging and not touristy feeling.

This was an amazing tour! It was just Henry and me on the tour and he did a great job going at my pace. He explained a lot about the desert flora and fauna, knew where to stand for the best sunset viewing, and was just very personable. It was the perfect way to end my day and my trip to Phoenix. Highly recommend!
