Unforgettable Sintra & Cascais: Palaces & Coastal Magic

Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta Da Regaleira, Lunch, Cabo De Roca, Mouth of Hell, Azenhas Do Mar. Duarte our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. Full of knowledge and information about all the history of every place we visited. So friendly and very sweet. We skipped the lines were first in to Pena Palace. He took great photos of everyone in the group at all locations. And drove us safely down narrow roads. Lunch was delicious, bread, olives, cheese, green wine, vegetable soup, sea bream fish, and pineapple and cappuccino for dessert. Highly recommended. Had a wonderful time. So glad I booked this tour. If I could hire him to take me to all my tours I would ❤️. Also he offered his sweater to my niece to cover her from the cold winds. He is the best. Duarte is the best.

We had an awesome time with Nico. He made sure that we got to Pena Palace early. We were one of the first in line before the palace opened. By he time the gates opened, there was a looong line behind us. We were already finished with our tour of the Pena Palace when we saw a lot more people arriving. Nico was very informative and engaging. He timed each of our itinerary perfectly. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was very good value for the money. I think the best way to go on a tour is with a small group like this one especially if you get lucky and have the kind of people we had in our group. It made a whole lot of difference with our experience. Nico took great pictures and gave us a video collage of the day. A perfect ending to a great day. Thank you so much Nico!

Happy tours was incredible because of Duarte our guide. His knowledge of the history of Sintra Portugal was so helpful and he made such a great experience. We were in a small group which made it especially easy and everyone got to know each other. We love that we were the first people in line at Peña Palace, and we skipped the queues which was awesome. Lunch was amazing and we had unlimited wine! Once again, thank you for this excellent day!

I had a wonderful time! With just eight people, our group felt cozy and comfortable, far from the crowds of larger bus tours. Eddie was an outstanding leader, providing fascinating and informative facts about every stop. Getting into the castle ahead of the typical crowds was the cherry on top of our experience. I highly recommend this excursion—it was well worth the price.

We selected this particular tour on recommendation of our daughter who participated in the same tour with their guide Nuno several years ago. Our driver and guide was Eddy. He was wonderful. We were in a group of 8 people. Tour starts early, but we arrived first to the Pena Palace which had its advantages. All the stops we made were great, and so was Eddy’s narration. We loved the restaurant selection for lunch. Food was very good and at a great value. I’d certainly recommend this tour - day well spent!

Lukas and Duarte were amazing guides and showed us so much. They were very engaging and interactive with our group and had us laughing so many times throughout the day. Would do another tour with these guys for sure.

Lukus and Duarte were the absolute best! They were on time, ON THE DOT! We were first in line for the Pena Palace. They were so helpful and had so much information and history to share about Portugal and Sintra! Every stop was beautiful! Lunch was delicious! We could not have asked for a better day in Portugal! Leave early in morning but we were literally first in line to Sintra which is great. Nico was a really informative tour guide and drove expertly in the narrow and at times rainy road. Also great at taking photos for us throughout! Lunch we had to pay for separately but it was really tasty with local foods. Would book again.

Duarte is a very knowledgeable tour guide He is very detailed I learned a lot from him. He is very informative and very organized we were always the first before the other tourists arrived. He is also very caring and was so concerned when I informed him about my sister who has a heart condition and could not make it to see the castle. Lunch break was the best too. Big kudos for a job well done!
