Our tour director Ines was friendly and full of information which added context and depth to the places we visited. She explained things well and always made sure all questions were answered. She had a good sense of humor and made the trip fun. I usually don’t go for tours but I would definitely recommend this one. Hopefully you’ll get Ines.

A FULL day. Well organised and a nice small group. Peña Palace was a feast for the eyes and senses but Quinta da Regaleira was a total surprise - our guide, Joaia, was so knowledgeable and gave us a fully immersive trip through the incredible grounds. I really recommend this trip. The two sites were easily enough for one day. Trying to fit in more would just be too much!

This was the only site I could find the two tours I wanted to go on of pena Palace and Regaleira. Our tour guide had lots of information and stories about the two places which made it much more interesting then just looking at a place without knowing the history behind it. The only thing I would say is that more free time at end of each tour would have been nice to take some pics (ie we only had 15 minutes to use bathroom, grab a coffee or explore on our own at the end of Peña palace tour). So if you are more interested in pics then learning about the history then you may want to explore on your own!

We really enjoyed our tour of Sintra, Pena Palace and the Quinta Regaleria. Marta was a knowledgable and engaging tour guide. This was an all day experience with lots of walking. My favorite part was tasting the pasteis de nata, a custard tart, a traditional Portuguese treat.

The Pena Palace is absolutely breathtaking, a true masterpiece of colors, history, and imagination. Perched high on a mountaintop, it offers sweeping, panoramic views of Sintra and the surrounding countryside that feel straight out of a dream. The palace itself bursts with vibrant, contrasting colours; bright yellows, deep reds, and striking blues, making it one of the most eye catching landmarks in Portugal. Every corner of the palace feels magical, with a mix of romantic, Gothic, and Moorish architectural details that transport you to another era. Walking through its corridors and terraces, you can’t help but admire the intricate tilework, beautiful arches, and whimsical design elements that make Pena Palace truly unique. The surrounding gardens are just as impressive vast, lush, and full of exotic plants from all over the world. Strolling through the forested paths and discovering hidden viewpoints feels like stepping into a fantasy world.

The tour was by-lingual even though it was not stated as such when we were purchasing it. The guide's experience could be much better - we were not impressed at all. The place itself is beautiful, I just wish I would make arrangements with some other tour company.

We chose this tour mainly because it included visits to Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira only. The guide did a great job. She spoke both English and Spanish and explained everything clearly. The tour started on time and returned to Lisbon before 5:30 p.m. My only disappointment was the change in the itinerary from what was shown on the website. Instead of starting at Quinta da Regaleira, the bus first stopped in the town of Sintra from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. Then, we walked to Quinta da Regaleira for the 11:30 a.m. entry and stayed there until 1 p.m. After that, the guide asked us to walk back to the town of Sintra on our own for lunch and meet again at 2 p.m. We had only about 45 minutes for lunch, including finding a restaurant, ordering, eating, and paying. This felt extremely rushed and poorly planned, and we didn’t understand why the order of visits had been changed.
