This was an excellent tour small group. The itinerary was well planned and our guide, Nuno was very educated and informative about the two different cities we visited. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was extremely convenient due to being a bit out of the city center of Porto. The restaurant was very good. Water was also provided in case it was needed when it got hotter during the day. I would recommend this tour company to others.

This was an excellent tour that gave a great snapshot of the great sights those two beautiful towns have to offer. It was a small group of just 6, our guide Nuno was very good and it was particularly enjoyable to get to know everyone during the delicious lunch. Of course, to cover so much ground in a day means that the time for each location was limited. It seems the visit of the Palace of the Duked of Braganza was a bit rushed, I would have loved to have a bit more time to enjoy that place. Overall great experience.

Sergio was our tour guide, he was efficient and very timely. He was soft spoken, and answered all our questions. The cities were very nice! Lunch was on time, simple but good portions. Dessert was really good.

Was disappointed in this tour. The guide Alex, there are 2 Alex guides, one has more history knowledge we were told but this Alex gave very little information. Didn't seem to have as much knowledge as just knew the important dates but nothing much about each place. We would have gotten more information reading the signs. I'm not sure if it was because the 3 other people were less interested so he decided not to give the history and instead just chatted about friends and other experiences he had. He did give good insights into the local sweets and lunch was very nice. The only positives. Also not as advertised as we skipped the Dukes Palace. We were told it was there and then continued on. I thought we would go back but we never did. Although it stated we paid for the entry tickets and was susposed to spend an hour visiting. It also meant we finished the tour early at 4. No bottled water was provided either. Maybe with a better guide this tour would have been OK but I was left with no historical knowledge about the area and disappointed.

Our tour guide was excellent and we enjoyed hearing all about the history of the area. The towns were quaint and lovely. We highly recommend this trip to anyone traveling to Porto.

Beautiful scenery and historic commentary! Truly enjoyed the two quaint historic towns! We actually stayed in Guimares town and continued to shop and have dinner!

The churches, and castles were fantastic. The guide was difficult to understand and didn't seem very knowledgeable as it seemed he was stumbling for facts and was reading the placards that were in front of him. This was suppose to be an English guided tour and there was one Spanish speaking couple that he kept having to translate for which was very frustrating and interrupting. Also the driver drove recklessly. I understand European driving but he was taking corners fast which violently shifted us back and forth, and slamming on breaks which made the ride very painful, especially for my husband who has back issues. Very disappointing.

We had a very pleasant trip. Our guide, Jorge, was knowledgeable, professional, and communicative. He had expansive insights into Portuguese history and could easily answer our questions. We had ample time to see the UNESCO sites and shop for souvenirs. Lunch was delicious and plentiful, and we enjoyed the company of other guests on the tour. Unfortunately, no water was provided outside of lunch (contrary to what was stated in the description), but we easily found bottled water to purchase during the tour.
