The day from start to finish was great. Our tour Guide Faizan was brilliant- knowledgeable, funny, very informative and helpful - he definitely enhanced the coach journey and his direction at each of the stops was very valuable. He had little extra tips for making the most of each site. The day itself I think is a must if you are in Munich for a few days (as it is a long full day out of the city) but well worth it. We were there in mid October and the autumn colours were breathtaking. The tour ran like clockwork with a perfect length of time at each stop to enjoy the gardens and interiors of each building. A reminder though, that unless you upgrade, the cost of entry to the tour is not included in the price. You pay separately on the bus for entry tickets. Even at this time of year the tour was full and the Queens bridge (not for the faint hearted!) was very busy but not to missed for the full splendour of the view of the castle. Drinks on the way home were available to buy at very reasonable prices (including beer!) so have some change! Also a tip to have cash for the last bit of the journey by bus or horse and cart up to the castle unless your keen for the 40min uphill hike! All in all I would definitely recommend taking this day trip

Nancy was an excellent tour guide. Marco was an excellent driver. Very much enjoyed the visit at the castle. Nancy was friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions with a smile. Highly recommend Nancy as a tour guide.

Our tour guide was outstanding and very friendly. The bus driver was very safe and the bus itself is really nice. They had nice snacks on board.. we have no complaints at all. It was a wonderful experience.

Great adventure for the day. Guide was lovely Hanace. Long drive but well worth it. Lots of walking and walking so know this going in to this trip. We took tram up and glad we did it else I would be still walking up. Stairs in castle are there too but easy to do it. Well maintained castle and area and trio and guide was great- highly recommend

We enjoyed both castles but the trip was too rush and too long for us. I would consider a two day tour. For people have shorter time can enjoy this tour.

The tour guide we had left us alone at the castle after giving verbal directions. The grounds around the castle are massive. We walked back down to the bus in the wrong direction for a long period of time before realizing we were going in the opposite direction. I think the tour guide's duty is to wait for us and make sure we were going in the right direction.

Guide Pedro and driver Dragon were wonderful, knowledgeable and experts in little known facts which made our special. Yes, there are 300 plus steps in the castle alone, but not all at once. Definitely take the bus transport (or carriage ride) from main area up the hill. Later, walk down the long hill and take in scenery and additional castle pictures.

Our tour guide Pedro was wonderful. He was well organized. And his suggestions of when how to plan our visit in the castle were excellent.
