Great tour with Jake the awesome guide. It was a beautiful autumn day, so the foliage made it extra special. There are also places to buy food throughout the area. If you opt to walk up to the castle from where the bus drops you off, you may want to wear walking/hiking shoes. It was also worth paying to enter the Castle. Highly recommend as a day trip from Munich!

Lana was absolutely amazing. Insightful, kind, patient, and made sure we had a laugh throughout a long day journey. Could not have asked for or expected a better overall time!

This tour was absolutely magical! Seeing Neuschwanstein in person felt like stepping straight into a fairytale — the scenery leading up to the castle was breathtaking. Our guide made the journey so enjoyable, sharing the fascinating story of King Ludwig II and pointing out things we never would’ve noticed on our own. The whole day was beautifully organized, and the photo stops along the way were stunning. Definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Worth the travel, Radius crew are very helpful in assisting the guests. Tour guide named Lana was amazing, lots of energy and she smoothly guide us all through out the tip. Although the castle is not that amazing, overall trip/travel is worthy of the price and time.

Tour was great. Enjoyed the views of the castle both in and outside. The bus ride to the castle from Munich was perfect, drinks for small number of euros and a pitstop for restrooms. The castle’s bus ride to top of mountain to see castle was a bit harried speeding along narrow lane road but got us there quick. Wish we had more time to explore the castle but will admit the suggestion to walk down the mountain (to avoid walking up a lengthy hill to get back to the bus) was pretty significant. This tour def required a lot of walking, stairs, and hills (up and down). For someone with tough knees it wasn’t easy. I believe you could take a horse drawn carriage down but there was a line and we worried about missing the bus back. Time for lunch in the village before castle tour was great. All in all a good tour! Guide was helpful (Dan), funny, knowledgeable, and a pleasant guy!

Words and photos are insufficient to capture the absolute beauty that is Neuchwanstein Castle and Schwangau. Consider me obsessed! Admirable mention, Jake, our guide, was a comedic blast and blessing in disguise. Having lost my dad this time last year, I was admittedly sad and anxious about this tour, but Jake snapped me right out of it! The beauty of the scenery and the experience did the rest. 1000/10 recommend!

Jake our guide was fantastic. Spoke for two hours on the bus about Bavarian history was delivered it with both facts and humour. Very easy to listen to. The castle itself was one that you would expect to see in Orlando Florida, except this one was real. So glad we took the tour. Looks of mountain walking and stairs involved , so not suitable for those with fitness issues or injuries. You must do this trip if you are in Munich.

The logistics of this trip were planned great- enough time to eat, use the restroom, wander around with time to ourselves. The castle inside must not be missed.

Absolutely amazing! The views were remarkable, and every room in the Neuschwanstein Castle was breathtaking. Our tour guide, Charlie, was also very helpful and entertaining. Would very highly recommend!

The tour guide seemed knowledgeable, but he had a knack for vanishing the moment my fellow travelers and I needed to know something. I had to find the trail to the castle when he vanished after promising to point out the trail. At the risk of sounding petty, I asked the tour guide for a beer on the bus, but was ignored. I'm not sure if the tour guide was out of beer, mad at me, or both.
