Unforgettable Amsterdam Night Canal Cruise & Bar

We were booked on a 18.30 evening time one hour tour. We didn’t set off until 18.40 as the crew were all having food, drinks and smoke - you would have thought breaks wouldn’t impact departure time. It was busy, really busy and it was clear the crew thought the same - counting the queue, double checking everyone’s ticket time. We got on the boat and took a seat, packed in like sardines as they were concerned about space - although once on there was room for people to space out. Many of the people were on a cheese and unlimited drinks booking so the 2 members of the crew did a great job of ensuring that no one was ever out of a drink - but that certainly seemed to impact the guided tour - it was rushed! We paid £21 each for a hour tour which didn’t include a drink! When we visited in April I used a smaller boat tour company across the canal and it was far better, more intimate, £20 includes a drink and the guide was excellent! Disappointed, overpriced, all about the volume of numbers!

They were so lovely and helped us rebook for a little later in the evening after we just missed the first tour. Hilarious and informative, would definitely recommend!!

It was great! I learned a lot about the city on this tour. I would def do it again. I do wish it was a bit longer but the 45mins/ hour was good when it came to timing around other activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening cruise. It was raining when we arrived, but I wasn’t worried because I saw that the boat had rain proof covers for us. That said, the rain stopped before we set sail. Our live guide was well informed and witty, giving us very enjoyable comments. Taking a canal cruise in the evening presents many photo ops. I would definitely recommend this cruise

Wonderful boat captain and bartender. Friendly, engaging, informative. We were seated next to a family with young children using devices to watch videos and we would probably seek an adult-only experience in the future since that made it tough to hear the guides. But the boat trip and area was beautiful. We toured at night and everything was lit up. It was lovely.

Did the canal boat tour in the evening from opposite Central station. The guide and boat driver were knowledgable about the city, engaging and good fun which added to the ambiance of the trip. Great way to see the city and see it lit up at night. Definitely an activity to partake in when visiting Amsterdam.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the evening cruise. I received a text from the company stating they had technical difficulties and had to reschedule the time of the cruise. We were unable to make the new time and although the time limit for reimbursement had passed, we did receive a credit for the missed cruise. We had been on the same cruise the day before in the afternoon and it was wonderful so I'm sure the evening cruise would have been the same. Out of all the things we did and saw while in Amsterdam the canal cruise was the best. I would definitely recommend it.

Went for a boat tour on the luxury boat canal cruise. The guide was very knowledgable about the city which added to the ambiance of the trip. The boat was lovely and we even got a free drink each. The route we took started at the Rijksmeseum. Definitely an activity to partake in when visiting Amsterdam.

Amazing experience, we went on the Sofia’s boat with Hans and Chris as our guides. Not only we could enjoy incredible views and a peaceful ride but also we learned a lot about the city and its history. Overall we could not have asked for more professionalism and care.

Went on a night time cruise and it was beautiful!! The crew were nice and we learned some things about the area. Highly recommend!!
