Anj was our amazing tour guide - funny, and knowledgeable. Loved the slow, flat bike ride, great photos, and UNESCO sights! Definitely recommend this for an easy afternoon of site seeing!

I learned the history of Intramuros and was able to cover all parts more easily in a bike. The guide had pictures to support the history topics.

Inje was a good guide, she was knowledgeable and asked us if we had any questions. Other guides had a smaller group and a spreakerphone which we missed. There were pleasant breaks. I would have liked more deep information about the history and culture background, she did speak very fast and was difficult to understand at times. There is only one toilet at the office which is not very clean. I would recommend the tour though.

Great tour of Manila. The bikes were a fun way to explore and they had lots of staff around to make us feel safe. We were late and they did everything to catch us up and not make us feel bad! The tour gives a good overview of the Philippines and Manila's history with all the key stops. Our tour guide JD was very friendly and informative - answering any questions we had. He also informed us about how the tour was community led which was great to know. They also provided a complimentary drink and ice cream so it felt like good value.

Our guide Mica was excellent. She engaged with each person and she was able to answer questions outside the usual script. Very knowledgeable about her country’s history. She was lots of fun too! Good sampling of all the highlights of “Old Milan”.

When we first booked this tour, we were not sure what to expect. We got JD as our tour guide and the tour exceeded our expectations. We learned about the history of Intramuros while cycling to different locations whose entrance fee was included, had iced tea and cheese flavoured ice cream to help us cool down, and experienced local culture e.g. through religious ceremonies taking part in churches or schools completing dance activities. We definitely suggest going for the 3 hour tour rather than the short version - it is safe even though we are cycling in public roads. This tour inspired our later adventure in Manila's Chinatown which is in walkable distance from Intramuros. Thank you JD, that was amazing :)

Anj is an enthusiastic and informative guide, willing to share her culture with us. The bikes were a good fit and easy to ride. Safety was always emphasized as we traveled the streets of Intramuros. The ride was easy and broken up by breaks for culture and snacks.

What a wonderful bike ride and unique experience. Our guide Chi Chi was very nice and patient to guide us through the historic neighborhood of Manila. It is a great way to understand local history and culture. Highly recommend to go, but also remember to bring a big bottle of bug spray!

I attended the tour solo. Mica was our tour guide. She was friendly and super knowledgeable. I had several questions throughout the tour, and Mica was able to answer confidently. The bike I used was smooth and reliable. It had road bike wheels. I would say biking around Intramuros is the best way to get around. I was extremely happy with the tour and would highly recommend. I opted for the longer tour option.

The other day, Googling things to do in Manila, I came across a bicycle tour - on bamboo bicycles. Well, I had to, didn't I? so booked a package. The last couple of days, they've been emailing me to say they may cancel the tour because of the extreme weather. This morning, it was looking pretty bad but no cancellation email, arrived and by 1 – 2pm it had cleared up and was looking quite nice. On arrival, at the shop, I was told that the tour had been cancelled! I showed them the emails stating that they were evaluating the situation and mentioned the fact that I’d just taken a taxi to get there. Eventually, it was agreed that the tour would go ahead, with just me! How cool is that? Everyone else had cancelled because of the weather - but it turned out nice. Any rain would have been fine with me, anyway, as it’s around thirty and the humidity has been hard. The bike was cool. Well put together, light and rides very well. I have to have one, but they’re not cheap, despite being made out of bamboo. The one I saw, on their website, is priced at 2,399 USD. Turns out, you can buy just the frame, for around £550. S*** – that’s expensive too! Company has been operating a few years. Started up by an American who came up with the idea on his travels through Africa. Anyway, off me and my guide, Josh, went on the 2 and a half hour tour. Turned out, we stopped a lot and there were a lot of history lessons which I wasn’t really interested in, at first – I was really there for the bike experience, but actually turned out to be quite enlightening. I learnt a bit about Jose Rizal who is considered a national hero. He was executed by firing squad in 1896. Because he was considered a traitor, he couldn’t face the firing squad – he had to have his back turned. There were 8 Filipinos in the firing squad and 8 Spanish aiming at the Filipinos in case any missed. I was also told that only one of the Filipino rifles had a bullet in it. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. As we arrived back at the shop, it started to spatter rain slightly. Perfect timing. I will have to think about one of those bicycles and definitely go back for another tour in one of those bamboo sidecars. Their website is bambike.com if anyone is interested. Highly recommended, especially if you're into bikes.
