Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid: Exclusive Maya Odyssey

I’ve traveled across Latin America extensively for about 25 years, hitting almost every country south of the US. In that time, this tour was one of my top experiences! Booking was easy via the website, with good communication prior to our trip. Pickup was exactly when they said, and we met Marcos and Axel - our two amazing guides/drivers! Axel was a skilled driver, and my often nervous when riding in taxis spouse was totally relaxed the whole time. Marcos was a fountain of knowledge, massively enhancing our time at Chichen Itza and the cenote. Lunch was fantastic, they had snacks and water for us, and this was a 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend.

A great experience from beginning to end. Picked up on time at our hotel. The van was comfortable and nicely air conditioned. Our driver, Axle, was cheerful and gave us a smooth ride both ways. Our guide Paloma was friendly, knowledgeable and fluent in Spanish, English and French. She was very capable and handled all aspects of the tour with ease. The restaurant she took us to for lunch was beautiful and the food and service were excellent. The cenote was wonderful as well. Completely underground but with small openings to the outside high above the water. Community run, clean, natural and peaceful. A truly exceptional experience!

Unforgettable, couldn’t recommend more! 💯Cesar our tour guide is exceptionally knowledgeable (he studied history and German literature) and we learned so many interesting things about Mexico and Maya culture and history. I felt highly inspired and impressed throughout the day. Chichen Itza was phenomenal and with all Cesar’s stories it really came to life. It was safe, relaxed, care-free and super fun. The group was great, a few nice couples and some solo travelers like myself. It was the absolute highlight of my trip.

Everything was perfect and well organised, the guide Cesar was really passionate about sharing his knowledges about Mayan history and always here to make this a unique experience. The trip included a lunch in which you can choose typical Mexican food in a really nice restaurant in Valladolid, then we went shopping a little and finished the day swimming in a magnificent cenote.

Cesar was absolutely amazing! This was by far the best Tulum day trip we’ve ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of from start to finish. Everything was so well organized. The cenote, Xux Ha, was surreal—at one point, our group was the only one there, and it felt so private and intimate. Such a special experience. Cesar, thank you for all your hard work. Keep doing what you do—you’re helping so many people connect with and appreciate the culture in such a meaningful way.

Great tour with Cesar today. He had so much information to share on the history of Chichen Itza, the land scape & wildlife. We got to visit a cenote that was one of the most beautiful I've seen. We were in a group of 7 so that got the best pit of the day.
