We had a great experience on this tour, with smooth and well-organized transportation throughout the trip. Hugo is an excellent tour guide—very knowledgeable and able to explain things in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Everything was well planned and ran smoothly. We are very satisfied with the tour and with the booking experience through TripAdvisor.

Hugo is a funny and knowledgeable tour guide. He explained detailedly about the history of Mayan and ChiChen Itza. The most memorable part was the demonstration of clapping in front of El Castillo that has an echo of a chiming bird . There is one hour guided tour in El Castillo and an another hour free time to take pictures and walk around. If you want to explore every part of it, the time might be a bit tight. There is a cenote swim with Buffet lunch. There are 40 mins to walk around Valladolid with a taqulia tasting. Wish to have more time to explore this city but I understand the constraint of the tour as it takes around 3 hours to commute between Cancun and Chicken Itza.

The main attractions were great. Be warned, they take you to a Mayan village before Chichen itza that the tour guide spent an hour talking about how everything here is handmade. This is a shop that completely rips tourists off. Everything there was 5 times the price of the same items inside the site. You also should negotiate with the vendors. We spent 45 minutes there and had to rush through Chichen itza and missed seeing half the site. The cenote and lunch were nice, but the city was rushed, only 25 minutes where you get another sales pitch to buy tequila that they quote you 3X the amount they will take. Overall it was nice to see the sites, but 14 hours was a bit long for the whole tour and we wished there was less scamming people out of money.

I really had a great experience with this tour. I also love the fact that they fed us and it was honestly worth the money. This was very memorable because it was our first sibling trip and it really brought us closer.

Everything was good. But vendors are so rude and they almost want to punch you in the face if you don’t buy. This is very scary

The Chichén Itzá is beautiful historical site. You could learn some about the Mayans. The tour is too long and don’t expect much times for see the Chichén Itzá. Not much special about the cenote except the natural beauty. Ortherwise just busy shopping in small retail shops. Eat breakfast and bring water with you.
