Alonso's food city tour was amazing, filled with great specialties and anecdotes! He was able to accommodate to what we had already tasted to allow us to discover even more Peruvian dishes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Arequipa!

My partner and I had a wonderful time with Alonso on this food tour. We visited several lovely restaurants trying some local delicacies and learning about the history of Peruvian cuisine. The food was sensational and we even had a trip to the local market to try some fruits and learn about the ingredients - everyone was very friendly. Alonso was super knowledgeable and fun to be around - we learned about the food, some local sites, and some local history as well at eating some wonderful and new food. Would definitely recommend this tour - a lovely way to spend and afternoon in Arequipa!

Alonso our guide for this trip was wonderful! He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We had a great time at the local market trying several new fruits and learning about Peruvian vegetables. Alonso told us many interesting facts about the city as we walked from restaurant to restaurant. We tried several popular dishes at each of the three restaurants he took us to from appetizers to main dishes to desserts and even several drinks. We would highly recommend this tour and Alonso.

Such a great way to learn about a city, so much more fun than a regular walking tour. You get to learn all About the city as well as so many different types of foods you never would have tried without doing a food tour. Trying different fruits at a local market was so good. Then visiting local authentic restaurants to try the most delicious foods was such a highlight. Doing all this with a really friendly guide makes this such a great experience.

I have been to Arequipa many times and have taken many of the tourists tours. I had not done a food tour and when friends mentioned they were going, I knew this was right up my alley. Alonso led us on a fabulous food tour of the city -full of history and interesting details. I will highly recommend this adventure.
