Kolkata Unveiled: Exclusive 8-Hr Private City of Joy Tour

Had 1 day in Kolkata and this was a great way to see most of the historical & cultural sites of the city. Subrata was excellent...having good knowledge and keen sense on how much we wanted to see. Keep it up !

Ssooo much to see and do in Calcutta but if you don't have the time, book this tour and marvel at the highlights of this city. We got to know historical bits of the city and see first hand local life. Really amazing Our guide Sengupta was very informative about many topics including history, politics, culture, etc. The car was comfortable and the polite driver.

What a fantastic day with Chandrayee. She was knowledgeable about her city and was an excellent Ambassador. Having it be personal allows you to be flexible with your request. Given that I like architecture, my only recommendation for those who will choose this tour and may wish more time with the colonial buildings - I would suggest working with Chandrayee and starting the tour earlier and skipping one of the other activities. Chandrayee was professional, thoughtful and aware of her guest needs! Bravo!!

An excellent full day trip thru temples, churches and historic sites of Kolkata with a very knowledgable guide Subrata. And he adapted the agenda to some individual requests. Very much recommended.

Not as advertised. The “guide” was more an “escort”. Did not provide information unless asked directly and the response was unclear or unrelated. The flower market was a stimulating experience, without any explanation or context. Long walk to the fruit market which was basically empty. Walked a long way from the flower market to the fruit market. Asked multiple times how far without good answer. Eventually requested we take an “auto” which we did. The tour ended there and we were pleased to return to our hotel. I would not end this tour.

Highly recommended! Had an amazing tour with my guide Subrata who showed me around the town. You could tell he was passionate about the city and had a lot of knowledge and history to share about the various places that we visited. He met me at my hotel and was able to customize the tour experience based on my interest. I really appreciated that he looked out for my safety as a new traveler in the country.

I’m Bangladeshi and this was my first time to South Asia’s cultural heart and greatest city. Subrata, my amazing guide, was pleasantly surprised and thrilled that I happened to be a fellow Bengali brother so we spoke in Bangla throughout the tour. As this tour was private, it was customised to my liking. We stopped at the major attractions and had a light lunch at the legendary Indian Coffee House, before stopping at some clothes stores for some much needed shopping therapy, and purchased sweets at a Balaram and Mullick branch before ending the tour.

A really pleasant world wind tour of the city, perfect if you only have one day and want to get a sense of the place! Would recommend to solo travellers needing some company

Great way to see the main sights in Kolkata. Our guide was with good knowledge and well prepared for every question what our 7 year old asked. The driver was great with a clean and nice car. Thanks for your great day.
