For what it is, this tour covers a lot of ground: River confluence, pink dolphins, fishing, lunch, nature walk, and tribal village. Boat has power outlets for phone charging and free ice water. I think my group was among the 10% that spoke English. The guide’s English was okay when I spoke with him one on one, but otherwise, i didn’t know what he was saying. There’s a lot lost to translation or simply not as detailed since the Portuguese explanation was significantly longer than the English explanation. This is a consolidated tour, meaning you could find different vendors on Viator or anywhere else selling the same thing (ie similar itinerary but same boat trip), which means you can shop around for best pricing.

Like many other reviews, one of the biggest issues is the terrible sound system. We couldn't understand what the guide was saying in English. The operation is quite unsanitary, especially during the last stop where folks were swimming in the river with a pink dolphine that they've enticed to come around with food. The bobbing platform has a bathroom that does not have any running water. The workers simply dump a bucket of river water into the bowl from time to time. It appears that the waste water goes directly into the river where all the guests are swimming with the dolphin. On the positive side, the hot buffet lunch was tasty if you're not too worried about the flies that are buzzing around constantly.

Swimming with the river dolphins was a lot of fun. The water was quite warm and comfortable. The meeting of the waters of the Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes to form the Amazon was magnificent. The other stops were just okay. While there was some English narration during the trip, it was quite limited.

Pick up from hotel was as agreed and punctual. The tour was well organised. It was a very large group of about 60 people, but still managed well. Visited the two rivers meeting point with plenty of opportunities to take pictures. This was the highlight of the day. Another highlight was the visit to the local community. Lunch was also very good. The rest of the day was filled up with visits to shops and sellers which you can ignore. You return to the harbour at 3pm.

Good tour to see most important views of Amazonas in half a day. Lunch was very good and rich of local cost provided.

Outstanding trip. Exceeded our expectations. James was an outstanding guide … personable .. professional and engaging. Our boat driver ‘pastor’ Antonio was also superb in every aspect … both gave us a wonderful day on the Amazon River- the highlight of our days on the River and satisfying our reason for coming - to explore the natural habitat and be exposed to the indigenous culture. We rate it 15 out of 10 - over the top!!!!! Thank you.

If coming in via a cruise ship you will see the mixing of the waters. In our forest walk produced nothing in the way of wildlife…

Although the tour was very good, the description does not match the tour. The tour did not include a walk through the forest or a motorized canoe ride through the water lilies. Per the tour guide, the tour has been the same for several years.

This was an awesome 1/2 day adventure. Our tour guide, Francineto, took us to the Rio Negro, an Indian village were we saw a show, swimming with the dolphins. Lunch was all you can eat and wonderful. There were a couple of stops to buy souvenirs. Francineto was a great tour guide. You could tell he takes great pride in his job. He was constantly interacting with all his guest (40+tourist). He and his team kept us safe while on the boat and everyone returned home safe. I’d recommend this trip if you are short on time in Manaus. Seeing the Rio Negro was the highlight of the tour for me.
