Arenal Hanging Bridges: Breathtaking Volcano Skywalk

Saw plenty of wildlife!!! Pit vipers, poison dart frogs, lots of bird life! No guide, but we were able to see plenty! Amazing views and location!!

This was a tiny bit of a let-down for us, but that may be because we'd already walked through a lot of jungle by the time we got to this. The bridges were cool, but not amazing. The entry fee is a bit steep just to walk around the park, but that's Costa Rica for you. I think these would've been cooler had we actually had mist and clouds - it was a pretty clear day when we went. I guess it's worth doing if you're in La Fortuna, but just know it's not amazing.

the views are unbeatable. we did the self guided tour and we took our time, making sure we didn’t miss a thing! the bridges , waterfalls , were absolutely beautiful. i recommend this to all

Don’t do a self guide! Do a guided one. They show you way more animals. Decent calm event. Nothing special but a nice day between the rafting and zip lines.

We had a great time exploring the hanging bridges park. The path was well marked and we could easily navigate ourselves. We saw snakes, frogs, tons of birds, butterflies, and other small creatures along the way. We were glad we went in the morning as it seemed to get more and more crowded throughout the day. Overall this was well worth the visit and the views are spectacular!

Beautiful experience. Great way to see the beauty and nature of Arenal from different levels. Do recommend a guided tour to catch nature that you would otherwise miss to the untrained eye.

Our family, including an 11 and 14-year-old, had a terrific time on this tour. We give a lot of credit to Jose Raul Bermudez (our guide) who was hands down the best tour guide in all of our activities in Costa Rica. He was personable, patient, and informative. He was willing and able to answer any question that came up, especially from the two kids. His engagement made it an enriching experience for all of us. We saw monkeys, serpents, sloths, raccoons, tarantulas, rare frogs, well I would go on but suffice to say that once he knew we were really interested we actually saw a lot more. The views are breathtaking, the bridges are fun and as a bonus the volcano was fully visible. We had a great time and would highly recommend this!!

A must see item in La Fortuna. There is so much to see on this tour. Definitely go see the waterfall and look up for monkeys.

Very cool bridges with amazing views! The whole park was very beautiful and well-maintained. The park was not as crowded as I expected when we went, and it was possible to get photos on the bridges with no one else in the background.
