Unforgettable Olympia: Transformative Half-Day from Katakolo

Very worthwhile visit to the musrums and UNESCO site. Be sure to get a coffee to "take away" from Mikalis at Pita Gyros/Coffee Stop right outside the port next to the light blue building in the salmom colored building!

Excellent service and way cheaper than the transport offered by the cruise line. George from the office at Katakolo cruise port came with us to Olympia and assisted those who needed to buy tickets to the site. Very helpful. It was raining on the way back to the port and the driver dropped us off as close as possible to the port entrance. Would happily recommend.

The tour organiser was very well organised and flexible. Our cruise arrived early but we were able to change to an earlier bus. They were very punctual. It was the best way to visit Olympia

Easy to find the pick up location. The customer service and guide were fantastic from start to finish. Just note that you are only paying for the travel to and from Olympia. You will need to buy a ticket to see the ruins and museum when you arrive. €20 gets you into both. Short walk to local shops if you have enough time with lots of souvenirs and restaurants.

Chrissy, our guide on the bus to and from was very knowledgeable and helpful and kind. The nbus was a motorcoach, comfortable and a good driver too.

Tina our guide was very knowledgeable on the bus ride up. We enjoy a self guided tour of the ruins and also spent time in Olympia shopping and eating baklava. The time we had was more than enough without feeling rushed.

Easy to find pickup place from port in katakolon. Met lovely gentleman guide (sorry can’t remember his name). Was only 4 of us on the coach but he gave us lots of info about the area and took us right to the ticket office at Olympia and pointed out museums etc. plenty of time to walk round on our own and picked up promptly to return to ship. Thoroughly recommended

Recommend if you are coming from a cruise and want time to visit Olympia. The bus ride was about 40 mins to Olympia. The bus was nice and had AC. Once at Olympia, we had about 3 hours before the bus took us back to our cruise port.

Great bus ride. We had problems with our ship changing port days because of a tug boat strike in another port. We were able to change our day and Chris worked hard to get us on another bus. Overall we would pick this company again.
