Waiheke Adventure: Zipline Thrills & Native Forest Discovery

This was an experience we will never forget! Bob, Kyle and staff were exemplary with the safety instructions and very patient with our group of 5. The 3 zip lines were exhilarating and the walk through the rain forest was good, albeit a little challenging for us seniors!! Overall, value for money and memorable.😀❤️👍

We had a great experience. The team were very helpful in organising everything for our group. The safety briefing gave confidence that it was going to be well-run. It was a lot easier to leave the platform than I thought it was going to be because it was so well organised and structured. Fail safe if visitors follow all instructions. The ride itself was thrilling, even though a few of us felt 'spacey' after riding the first line. The second and third we were getting the hang of things (pardon the pun) and really got into it. I would definitely recommend it (we were a group of women all over 70 years of age). I would recommend bringing a walking pole if you're a little unsteady on your feet for the climb back up through the native bush. A bit slippery in places.

The ziplining was fun, and the safety-consciousness of the team, Nancy and Poppy, was very impressive. Even more impressive was the forest tour back to base with Poppy. Insightful and interesting knowledge of the flora and fauna, with a good emphasis on conservation. Worth the money without the ziplining! Thanks a lot.

My first zipline experience was so fantastic with Fraiser and Poppy! Very exhilarating and very safe! Soaring over the forest was an incredible view! Frasier picked me up upon island arrival and explained everything! Poppy led a beautiful and informative walk back through the forest. A total awesome experience whilst being so eco conscious!

Great for kids but also a lot of fun for us empty nesters. Guides were professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. Nancy is terrific. Three “zips” was a good amount. Forest hike back was good and nice that we stopped a couple of times for interesting facts. Hike does require at least a basic level of fitness and no mobility challenges. Would do it again and easily recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing time on the zipline with our guides Marcus and Nancy. We took our daughters and they both had such a great time :)

We did the zip line and bush walk with the amazing guides Kyle and Lucy. They were so encouraging, kind and helpful could not recommend this experience more. I was very nervous to do the zip line and Lucy made sure I was assured the safety. So much fun!!
