A visit to the museum gives you a great understanding of Peruvian civilizations. The garden and entrance to the museum are lovely.

This museum has possibly the best assemblage of pre-Inka vessels. Nearly 100 years old it boasts numberless pieces that are veritable chefs d’oeuvre. Particularly remarkable are the pots coming from the Mochica region (N Perú) among them quite a few world known. It’s a pity that most of the artefacts come from the looting of sites and, therefore, more detailed information about them is lacking.

Larco musuem has well-organized exhibition of a good collection of artifacts dated thousands years ago. It provides a good introduction of pre-Inca Peruvian civilizations

Outstanding museum with extensive archeological artifacts, multi-lingual guides with additional text description adjacent to each item on display, indicating the historic and cultural significance of each. I spent 2.5-3 hours touring the displays and gardens. Well worth the visit!!

Fascinating exhibits, wonderful, knowledgeable guide for an extra fee. We’ll worth the time and trip!

This is a must see attraction, and if possible before going to other location such as ruins. It gives a visual history of Perú. The museum is loaded with artifacts. While you are there enjoy a meal at the museum redtsurant.

Such an interesting museum. I loved the expositions and we ate at the restaurant, it was quite expensive for the peruvian standard but such a nice experience

The museum is beautiful, and the storage area is incredible. I've never been to a museum with an accessible storage. I shopped in their gift shop and had a delicious lunch while watching the humming birds.

There wasn't a line to skip in end of february. These might be good for peak season. There's a lot to read but a map is given to you so you can explore & guide yourself properly, i would probably opt for a guide next time because i 'm lazy.
