Brisbane's Must-See: Ultimate Koala & Wildlife Day Pass

This cute sanctuary only took about 2 hours to walk through. It was the perfect way to interact with Australia wildlife not too far from the heart of Brisbane (~20 min from Fortitude Valley). When you arrive, definitely purchase the Koala experience near the cafe to get up close and personal with a koala (you can pet, but they no longer allow you to hold them).

My husband and I visited the koala sanctuary last week when we were in Brisbane. I don’t know why I was surprised that there were so many koalas!! Of course I expected to see several but you can literally walk around from one spot to another to another and keep seeing koalas. It was wonderful! And you can get so close to where they are perched (and sleeping of course) in their trees! We also really enjoyed the rest of the park as well - the birds and the kangaroos. We thought it was all really well done. We personally didn’t sign up for the pictures with the koalas but we didn’t others doing it and they seemed to enjoy it. Overall a fun day and a great experience!

Great day out with close up opportunities for Great photos. You can buy feed for the kangaroos and then feed them. Lots to see and shows put on. Lovely shaded area for lunch and reasonably priced cafe. We caught the bus which takes you right outside the Sanctuary. Worth a visit.

This is one of the best trips I have ever been on. Seriously. Everything was excellent, the crew, the boat, the commentary, the animals, everything was excellent. Don’t think about it, just go!

If anyone wants to see Australian wildlife go to to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. I went with my sister and brother in law from Canada and they loved it. They fed the kangaroos and had a wonderful experience.

“Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Brisbane was truly amazing. The place was so well kept, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the animals looked healthy, happy and so well cared for. I loved watching the kangaroos lazing around and living their best lives. Going there with my father is a memory I will always treasure. ❤️

I dont know if this is the place for animals to live.. little spaces and all childeren running around. I dont know. Close encounters....

Good day out especially from the Kangaroo Paddock onwards. Kangaroo's, Emu's, Birds. You can pat some of the Kangaroo's. The Emu's are tame too.

Great Experiance. The Tour gets better from the Kangaroo and Emu Paddock onwards. You can pat the Kangaroo's. Crocodiles Snakes, Lizards, Birds etc.
