Taste Civitavecchia: Unforgettable Foodie Walk

Great way to see the port city of Civitavecchia! History with a taste of local food. Our guide, Raf, was very personable and did a great job off showing off her home town!

Besides being informative, our guide was great to be around with. She made it a very easy-going experience, she let the group all get to know each other and know her. Soon we became friends walking together through a city.

We were sent an email a day or 2 before the tour, advising that the meeting point would be at the cruise bus drop-off point. I was a little worried because the original booking had a different meeting place, but we did find our guide there, and commenced our tour. There were about 4 people missing, however that made the group size much better in my opinion. Raf was a great guide who really brought the history to life, and the food was good too. Not an excessive amount of walking, and all at a nice pace. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The guided food tour with Rafa was very good. It was informative and the 4 food stops were all very nice which concluded with a full lunch. We were given directions at the lunch to return to our cruise ship which would have been better if we were escorted back.

Fun history filled afternoon enjoying local foods. Raf our guide was amazing. She brought laughter and a wealth of information to the experience.

It started slow. The cappuccino was lukewarm and the cookies tasteless. Then after that a slow crescendo to a a knockout final stop!. Our guide Luisiana was very knowledgeable and explained history well. She promised a great ending . SHE DELIVERED! This is a great alternative to racing in to Rome especially if you have been to Rome in the past. Highly recommend this tour.

Informative, fun, delicious! We can wholeheartedly recommend this experience. Our expert guide Raf did a wonderful job of blending history, culture and cuisine. We were traveling with a larger group, most of whom spent the day in Rome. I am so glad that we opted for the quieter option in Civitavecchia.

Raf, our guide was really friendly and warm. She was very informative about the history of Civitavecchia, and we very much enjoyed the food we were offered. I originally booked with another company, who cancelled because not enough interest, however, there were only 2 of us and the tour still went ahead, which was fantastic. Would recommend this tour!

Great experience. Our tour guide, RAF, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Citavitavecchia. She also spoke excellent English. Not only was the food delicious, but there many tastings. We ended the tour feeling very full.
