Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two. Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

I took the tour with Bob and a separate family group, and it was great! Bob was very knowledgeable and took us around the park, Atalaya castle and nature center. I've been on multiple Segways before, but Bob took the time to teach and make sure everyone understood how to ride safely. He also took several videos and pictures of us on our own phones, and he definitely knows the best places to get videos! We learned a lot about the park, the Spanish Moss (don't touch it!), spotted some alligators and even the people who were learning for the first time and wobbly at first could go on the easy forest trail at the end! Would recommend this tour, it's a great way to see the park without doing a whole day of walking.

Bob was very knowledgeable about the park and the history. Very simple to learn and ride as well. This is a good activity for families to learn about the area and not have to walk.

We had Bob as our tour guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on the park, the Huntington's, and the area. He took time to make sure everyone learned how to ride the Segway's properly & safely. He also took several pictures and 2 videos for each person on the tour. Great experience & when I'm in the area again I would definitely book another tour with Myrtle Beach Segway.

This was such a great excursion. Our guide was so knowledgeable on the history of the area. I learned a lot about the Huntington family and their many philanthropic donations. We saw alligators, birds etc. plus it was a really fun way to see the area. I'm so glad we booked this adventure. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to explore your local area in an adventurous way. Segways are fun and our guide was great!!

The guide provided good information/history. He did a good training for those who had never ridden before. I guess I was just hoping that there would be more to see in the park. I have ridden Segway’s as a Chicago tour and we saw a ton of I think my expectations were too high. They were fun to ride and the guide was good.

A really fun time both for the Segway experience and touring the park. Our guide, Bob, was a great teacher making our first Segway ride very easy. Bob also did a great job sharing the history of the park and its wildlife. We really enjoyed the tour. We've been visiting Myrtle Beach for over 30 years and it's like coming home. We look forward to visiting our favorite restaurants and relaxing on the beach. This was something fun and new to add to our beach vacations!
