Kenya's Wild Majesty: 4-Day Masai Mara & Nakuru Safari

The service was of great quality, with attention to every detail and perfect punctuality. I felt that the team genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience. Jack is a very funny and entertaining safari guide. I really enjoyed it. The food could vary, but overall it was very good. The hotels were super tidy and clean.

It was an amazing experience. Our trip and Safaris in Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli was organized through Axis Africa Safari and the experience was extraordinary. Tabitha was extremely helpful is organizing the trip to suit our needs and comfort. Our guide Yasin was amazing and took great efforts to make our Safaris memorable and a lifetime experience. We would strongly recommend Axis Africa Safari and Yasin if you want a smooth, comfortable and mesmerizing experience as they will ensure they take care of everything and you will only need to focus on gathering memories.

Booked a safari for 4 days and was definitely worth it. 2 days in Masai Mara and a day at Lake Nakuru. We were very well looked after and had breakfast and dinner included and packed lunches for the game drives. We managed to see what we wanted to on the game drives. Khalifa, the driver was really good and got us into areas to take some really good pictures. Would definitely recommend as the package includes all park fees, transport and accommodation. Overall was a thrilling experience and would definitely book through axis again

Amazing trip, We Covered Masai mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National park. Tabitha helped us in a very smooth planning of the whole trip. She replied to all my queries promptly before we made the booking. Accommodations chosen at Masai Mara and Amboseli were excellent in all aspects, except for lake Nakuru. Thanks a lot to our guide, Yasin, who made our game drives exciting! We saw plenty of wild life including close encounters with big 5(except leopard). But i must add that Yasin tried his best! Thank you Axis Safari, for making our trip memorable.

Such an exceptional trip - our brilliant guide enabled us to see all the animals on our bucket list and more. His knowledge of the reserve and park was extraordinary and he explained so much about what we saw too . He had a great rapport with us and was very responsive whenever possible to put requests. He got us so close to animals with his knowledge of anticipated behaviour so we were always in the right place at the right time. Fantastic trip!!

We booked with them after reading so many great reviews online — and I can happily say, every bit of it was true. Jacklyn was fantastic throughout the booking process. She was flexible, patient, and made sure all our requests were taken care of perfectly. But the real star of our trip (along with the animals, of course) was our guide, Khalifa. He’s an absolute legend — like a real-life Tarzan! His knowledge of the park, the animals, and their behavior was next level. He knew exactly where to find each animal, especially lions, and could even predict their next moves. Most of the time, our Land Cruiser was the first to spot animals, and Khalifa would then guide other vans toward them. Because of him, we got some truly amazing close-up shots! One example — we once saw vultures and storks feeding on a buffalo carcass. Just by looking at it, Khalifa said it was a lion kill and immediately drove us to the exact spot where the pride was resting. Sure enough, we found the Rongai Pride resting after a heavy feast, and thats how a guide should be. Experience becomes more immersive when your guide not only shows you the animals, but addresses them by names, tells you about the animals family tree and the story behind each animal rather a guide telling you here is a lion, here is a cheetah etc. Another unforgettable memory was at Lake Nakuru National Park. Khalifa noticed a few rhinos moving around and said they were about to cross the road. He took us right to the spot — and within minutes, we were face-to-face (just about 10 feet away!) with a massive 2000 kg alpha male rhino and his group. Absolutely surreal! Everything about the trip was so well organized and smooth. The only small downside was being asked to pay an extra $60 just before our safari started because of an increase in Nakuru Park fees. The price hike was real, but it had already taken effect earlier on October 1st and we started our negotiation from 4th October onwards and had confirmed beforehand that the tour price was final. Axis Africa did understand our concern, though, and reduced it to $30, which was fair enough. Hopefully, they’ll avoid such last-minute surprises for future travelers. One more small suggestion — it would be great if their vehicles had walkie-talkies, like other operators do. Khalifa’s skills are mind-blowing, and with a bit of tech backup, the experience would be 10X better. Overall, we had the best time ever and would 100% recommend Axis Africa to anyone planning a safari in Kenya! 🦁🐘🦒

Everything was perfect ! Communication before the safari was very good, they responded fast to all my questions. Pick-up and drop-off arrangements all went good and on time. They are very professional and experienced people. Then our guide, Tom ! What a great guide ! Worked really hard to accommodate our needs, made sure we had the best experience ! I wish the best to you Tom, and I am glad I got to share this beautiful experience with you and our lovely group ! Last but not least, Tom and Axis respected the rules ! Keeping distance from animals, while other tour operators were just not respecting the rules. That is finally the main reason why I'd recommend this operator. I was saddened to see other operators doing ridiculous things like blocking the lions view during a hunting. Our guide was respectful of the rules and the law, and I appreciate it ! Also, Tom was a wonderful driver ! Not an easy job ! He did great ! Thank you Axis and Tom !

Our entire experience was beautiful. Our guide Ken was perfect. He helped us with everything, he gave us so many information about the wildlife, tha parks , the nature and the people. He answered every single question of ours. And his driving is perfect!!! Everything was so well organized and I would recomend this agency to everyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Axis Africa Safaris from start to finish. From the very beginning, Lucy made the entire booking process extremely smooth and comfortable. She was always prompt in her responses, patiently answered all our questions, and ensured that every detail was taken care of well in advance. All the financial transactions were handled with complete transparency and ease, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind. Our guide, Kevin Apidi, truly made our safari special. He was not only knowledgeable about the Kenyan wildlife, and the local culture, but also incredibly friendly and approachable. He was a walking and talking encyclopaedia on all things wildlife and local culture . He answered every question we could throw at him. His calm demeanour, fluency in communication, and genuine passion for what he does made a big difference to our overall experience. Kevin felt more like a friend travelling with us rather than just a guide - always cheerful, helpful, and full of interesting insights. We appreciated how he went out of his way to make us comfortable and ensure we made the most of every moment. Most of all, he was just fun to be around! We left with wonderful memories, beautiful videos and photographs, and a deep appreciation for Kenya’s natural beauty. We would definitely recommend Axis Africa Safaris - and especially our guide Kevin Apidi - to anyone planning a trip to the Mara. We are already looking forward to travelling again in the future!
