Pompeii Express: Unearth Ancient Wonders from Naples

The tour of Pompeii was the best excursion of all of them. I was primed because I'd always wanted to see the city. Our guide was fantastic, she really made the place come alive. I would really recommend this for for anyone who wanted to learn more.

Very well organised visit. Travel in a luxury minibus. Connected to the guide with a wireless earpiece, you don't miss any explanation (which are very instructive).

The entire experience was easy and informative! The guide at the site WAS AMAZING! She took her time to explain everything and was so knowledgeable. This was a perfect quick tour of the site. If you have more time, I highly recommend it.

Our half-day tour of Pompeii was very well-organized and informative. The guide was knowledgeable, or perhaps had given the tour many times as it was a little robotic. The timing was perfect for a short trip—you get to see the key highlights without feeling rushed. Transportation was comfortable and punctual, and the pickup from Naples was convenient. That said, the area felt very mass-market, and the crowds were excessive, which took away from the experience. I also didn’t enjoy having to wear headphones during the tour—it felt a bit impersonal. Overall, though, if you’re short on time and want to see Pompeii’s main attractions, this is a solid option. Tour bus was clean and well maintained

Good driver and excellent guide. Guide spoke English very well and was able to include humor and lighter comments into the tour. Tour moved at a good pace, not a lot of lingering which I appreciate when standing in full sun

Good tour with a knowledgable guide. Efficient and on time. Well worth it and highly recommended if you are limited with time to provide a 1/2 day tour.

This tour isn't really for little kids under 6, especially if they still need a stroller to chill out. If they're awesome hikers and won't cause a fuss, then go for it! Strollers are a pain to push around here – lots of steps, rough patches, gravel, and big cobblestones. Otherwise, it's a cool tour to see how Pompeii was preserved and learn about its history. Bring a hat, at least 2 liters of water, and don't even bother with the restrooms, they're always packed.

Our guide Angelo was fantastic. He was funny, informative and interesting. He was happy to answer any questions very clearly and is clearly passionate about his subject matter.

This is a phenomenal historical experience. You are able to see hands on, how early Roman’s lived their lives. It amazed me how far away Mt. Vesuvius was from the site! I enjoyed the stories told by our guide. We learned what it was like to live your life around 79 AD.
