A breathtaking journey through time begins above ground along the Ancient Lands Experience, a pathway that winds through native bushland, where a series of interactive installations brings the creation of this remarkable place to life. As you wander the fully accessible Ancient Lands Experience, you’ll learn about cultural connections to the land, the local flora and fauna, and the formation of the pristine caves beneath the Leeuwin-Naturaliste limestone ridge. The path leads you to the entrance of Ngilgi Cave, where you can descend and explore its majestic stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, and beautifully coloured shawls at your own pace. Guides are positioned throughout the experience and are on hand to assist you and share their knowledge. The entire above and below-ground experience takes around 1.5 hours. If you opt for above-ground exploration only, allow around 30 minutes. There is also a nature-based play area for children at the final stop.

This really did take the hour and half we were told to expect. This was the best cave out of all that we visited, as you could go at your own pace, and take your time taking pictures and exploring yourself.

The caves were so nice and there was a slide my kids went down, I would recommend going to this cave unless you are claustrophobic.

At first when you enter the place, it looks pretty cool but it quickly became quite underwhelming. The interactive stuff above the cave were also not working when we were there. Probably good to visit once but unlikely to visit again.

Awesome, well worth the effort. Leave your jumper and Jackets upstairs before you enter. Loved it. It was a great experience for my little Grandson (6) who loved this.

A great experience. Our children (8,6&2) thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the older two loved the childrens cave. Highly recommend

Great cave experience, though a bit challenging for my 3-year-old. My 5- and 7-year-olds, however, thoroughly enjoyed it! Make sure to wear covered shoes, as there's quite a bit of climbing up and down. It’s also cool inside, so a jacket or at least long pants are a good idea. Don’t forget your water bottle. All that climbing will definitely make you thirsty! The gift shop had really cool items like colour changing ring as your mood changes (I think it's likely temperature change? that's effecting it) but the kids will love this cave and highly recommend it!

Fascinating experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the caves were amazing to see. A good physical workout with the stairs, so make sure you wear good walking shoes
