We had an excellent time, tried lots of different Japanese food we wouldn’t have done otherwise and went to some great restaurants. Melissa was good fun and very informative. We highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Ike led an amazing tour of Osaka. He took us places we never would have found on our own, sharing his vast knowledge of the region and food traditions along the way. Highly recommended!

If you’re visiting Osaka and love food, this walking tour with Melissa is an absolute must! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience that gave us a true taste of the city—literally and culturally. Highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go beyond the tourist traps and dive into the heart of Osaka’s food culture. Thank you, Melissa, for such a memorable evening

Really excellent experience with a very good tour guide, Mickey. She went out of her way to make everything great for us. Not only did we eat delicious food along the way but we got a brilliant insiders view of the city and some corners which we simply would not have found ourselves. Highly recommend it.

We spent one day in Osaka, and ended with the food tour. Very good tour, with lots of interesting stops, including a knife store, and a Shinto shrine, as well as fun food. We were three people, ages 78, 82, and 20. We all enjoyed it.

Never been on a food tour before so did not know what to expect, but our tour guide was very friendly and knew where to go to get the best and different types of Japanese food. Will definitely try more food tours on our future trips, thank you Arigato.

This was such a fun experience! We met Akiko in an iconic part of Osaka, learned all about the history, and were able to sample some unique foods! She also took us to a couple of game establishments and a cool knife store. Well worth the time. The food was plentiful, and there was something for everyone. She also asked our preferences--for instance,"were we adventurous eaters?" Had a great time and highly recommend!

Our last night in Osaka we had a food tour with Kevin. I did not expect much because I thought we were going to go to the food stalls. Not so! Kevin took us to 4 different off the beaten path places to dine. We had everything from takoyaki to sushi and many other dishes topped off with taiyaki, fish shaped cakes. Kevin was fun and very knowledgeable. We had a memorable time. Take this tour!

Had a great evening exploring some restaurants with our guide, Mio. She brought good vibes to the tour and we enjoyed chatting whilst wandering the streets checking out the sights and trying some great food. Gave us an awesome recommendation for a brilliant backstreet curry restaurant too, which ended up being a great end to our time in Osaka the next evening. We also tried a couple drinks I might not have otherwise experienced, and continued ordering later into my trip. I was wondering what to expect with the food after checking a few of the lower star reviews, but if anyone is left wanting more to eat, that definitely isn't on the tour operator lol. We were all thoroughly stuffed full of delicious food and couldn't possibly have eaten any more.
