Authentic Floating Market & Wild Canal Cocoa Immersion

Me and my friend were a bit worried about finding a good and real tour, because we heard there are many scams around. But this one was real, safe, and very well organized! Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. The boat ride, the floating market, and the small canals were amazing and peaceful. We really enjoyed every moment. Our guide Sasa was the best — very friendly, smart, and spoke excellent English. She told many interesting stories and made us feel very comfortable during the whole trip. If you book this tour, I really recommend asking for Sasa as your guide. She made our day very special and unforgettable!

We had such a great time with our guide Clara! She showed us nice places: the market, noodle making and the cacao factory! The boat driver was nice too (Mr Khan) We recommend!

My mum and I took part in this tour with guide Clara and driver Mr Kang. It was a really lovely time and I think we got to see a more authentic side than some of the bigger tours as we went on a small boat with only 5 people. We got to go on one of the house boats and got given loads of local food. I was not expecting the stop for noodles for breakfast and and the stop at the house of the workshop that makes rice noodles. It was a great mix of activities and our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and spoke great English!!

many thanks to our very warm guide Sasa... We had an unforgettable day with her in the rivers of Mekkondelta. She explained a lot to us about life in the Delta. We were allowed to enjoy soup and pineapple at the floating market. We made rice noodles and were in a local cocoa plantation.

We did the tour with Sasa as our guide. She was so nice with us and funny, and the tour wouldn’t have been the same without her. We learned so much about the floating market and she really explained well the process of the noodle factory as well as the cacao farm. The food we had during our tour was delicious and the local people we met were also really nice. Overall it was an amazing experience and I strongly recommend for people who want to know more about the Mekong river and traditions. And thanks again to Sasa ! :)

Our guide, Jade, was so lovely. She made our trip very special. Her English language skills are amazing. She was so knowledgeable & very happy to answer any questions. Jade looked after us so well. Our breakfast of pork, vegetable & noodle soup was delicious. The visit to the family who were making rice noodles was very good. The opportunity to try doing part of the process was very enjoyable. The cocoa plantation visit was a real highlight. The chocolate making process is fascinating & Jade explained every stage very well. The tasting of the chocolate drinks & chocolate was delicious. We bought some cocoa drink to take home. The floating market was vibrant & full of life, with wonderful characters. Everyone was happy to have photos taken. A very enjoyable & happy experience. Had an amazing experience with Sasa as our guide. We started with a floating market tour and moved to noodle making workshop and ended with chocolate making process. We also got a glimpse of how the locals stay on the boat. Our guide was engaging with us throughout the experience and has great command over her English language. Her photography skills are also very commendable!

Had a wonderful experience with Sasa!! We went as a group of 4 I.e. 2 couples this morning. She started with the floating market experience where she told us about the history of the Mekong floating market. We had an amazing breakfast and coffee on the boat itself - rice noodle soup and she ensured we had vegetarian options too. We had a great time visiting the rice noodle factory, pineapple boat and chocolate factory. She was so friendly that we got a whole lot of great food and shopping suggestions. She cut a lot of different fruits. Would definitely recommend this tour, specifically Sasa who made it a wonderful and memorable trip for us! Oh and before I forget, she’s a great photographer and we have amazing photos by the canal thanks to her.
