This excursion turned out to be one of our favourite moments in our trip to Geneva. Booking was very straightforward - make sure to book the full experience as the basic package only includes the coach ride to Chamonix, although people who had booked this were able to upgrade on the day. Departure is at 8:30 prompt - we arrived early and easily located Niels and the coach. Niels was a fantastic guide throughout the day, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. He provided interesting information about Geneva on the bus, making this an interesting journey. Once we arrived, Niels was very clear in explaining the timings and meeting points, and we had a short amount of time before boarding the Aguille du Midi cable car. This was an amazing experience, taking us to the very top of the mountain with the most stunning views! We had a perfect amount of time at the top to be able to see everything and take lots of pictures, and throughout Niels was excellent at making sure everyone knew the plan, as well as providing his own anecdotes and experiences. We then descended and Niels showed us the town centre, before we had some free time for lunch/shopping. The day continued with the cog wheel train ride to Mer de Glace, which was another fantastic experience. The whole day was extremely well planned, fascinating and unforgettable. I would not hesitate to recommend Niels and this tour. Would love to come back and do it all again.

The best part of the tour was our guide, Nils. He was fantastic! He shared great commentary including history of the area. He was enthusiastic and friendly, a very positive person. He made an already enjoyable experience seeing Chamonix and Mont Blanc even better!

This is a must-do! Incredible sights and an unforgettable experience among Europe’s tallest peaks. Neils was a fantastic and energetic guide who brought so much enthusiasm to the journey. We learned so much and had a blast the entire time. Would have loved more time in Chamonix.

Totally worth it. Enjoyed everything about the trip. Anyone on the fence should jump across and do it. We didn’t see ice caves as it was closed and also too little time on the top of mountain to stand in the glass vantage point but without them, still worth the money

Niels was the most fabulous guide on this full day adventure covering a lot of ground at a relaxed pace. The bus ride to Chamonix was entertaining with stories and interesting facts provided by Niels. Once we arrived, the whole day was explained as we were guided every step of the way. Mont Blanc was incredible and the town of Chamonix was beautiful and charming. We had adequate time to explore the town and eat lunch. Lastly, we took the train up to see the remains of the glacier. Niels’ personality and knowledge really enhanced the entire experience.

We had a full day guided tour from Geneva with Niels. It was a wonderful day and the highlight of our vacation. Niels explained every step of the way what we would do, where we would go, facts about what we were visiting and where we would meet after any free time we had. He made it easy to experience the lovely Chamonix town and breathtaking Mont Blanc. I liked the fact that he guided us through the whole adventure. I would have wasted a lot of time trying to figure it all out myself, all of the different options.

I really enjoyed this tour even though I didn’t do the complete tour. I was a little concerned about the tour itinerary since I was traveling solo and my fear of heights. Nils was great! When I mentioned to him I didnt want to do the Aguille di midi, he was perfectly fine with it and I spent time on my own while the group went to the Aguille di midi. I did some shopping and had a wonderful morning looking through the town. Nils even called me when he thought I paid for the entire tour to make sure I didnt miss out. It turns out it was a company error. When I mentioned I wanted to ride the train to the mountain mers and not go to the caves, Nils was very accommodating. I had a wonderful time in Chamonix the way I wanted to see the tour. Chamonix was absolutely beautiful! It was one of the highlights of my weekend in Geneva. Nils was fantastic if u get him consider yourself in great hands!
