Had a wonderful day trip with Smile Azerbaijan tours on Gobustan - the tours starts at 9am and ends around 6pm. We have seen so many beautiful natural wonders - the famous mud vulcanoes (3 types of mud vulcanoes) , one of them is even used for body treatment. In addition, we saw the fantastic Yanardag - burning mountains, a everlasting natural phenomenon due to gas, and the fire temple. The tour worths the trip and timing is good. Regarding the entrance fees, check out what the 25 AZN combo ticket contains (instead of 40 AZN) depending on what you would like to see.

We had the most incredible full-day tour in and around Baku, and it was all thanks to our outstanding tour guide, Sayeed. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure every single person in the group felt comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. We visited around 7–8 key locations, including the Fire Temple (Ateshgah), Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain), Mud Volcanoes, Gobustan National Park, several museums, and even the first oil well in the world. Sayeed impressed us all with his depth of knowledge — not just about the main attractions, but also about the smaller landmarks and buildings we passed along the way. He shared fascinating facts and stories, effortlessly blending history, culture, and local insight in a way that made everything so much more meaningful. What really stood out was how incredibly accommodating and thoughtful he was. He made sure everyone had access to water, helped people charge their phones by arranging chargers, and even shared his own personal hotspot with two other tour members who didn’t have data — something he offered without being asked. Sayeed’s time management was flawless. We never felt rushed, and yet we covered a lot without any delays. He found the perfect pace — not too fast, not too slow — and made sure every stop was well-utilized and enjoyable. Perhaps the most touching part of the day was when a woman who had back issues joined late and couldn’t sit at the back of the vehicle. Without hesitation, Sayeed gave up his own front seat for her and stood the entire day — from 9 AM to around 6 or 7 PM — just so she could be comfortable. That level of empathy and dedication is rare and truly speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. Sayeed, thank you so much — you were not just a guide, but a true host. You made our trip smooth, rich with insight, and genuinely memorable. Your professionalism, kindness, and deep knowledge made this tour one of the best we’ve ever been on. We’re grateful for everything you did and would 100% recommend you to anyone visiting Baku. You made Azerbaijan come alive for us. P.s he is an amazing photographer also. Takes amazing pictures from your phone as much as you want.

We took this Gobustan-Absheron tour with the Smile Tour AZ in April, and honestly, the tour could have been better. Most of the commentary was in Turkish and in some places, the guide even forgot to translate what she was saying in English. We got more than enough time in every attraction so that wasn't a problem. Even the lunch spot we went to was really good. While I was in Baku, I took another day trip with another tour provider Baku Heritage Tours and their guide was much better. She took the time to ask our names, got to know the group, and helped us bond with each other. That's what group tours are all about. Everyone travelling together should bond, interact, and have fun together. However, this Smile Tour was all about facts, dropping us off at different attractions and that's it. We went as strangers and returned as strangers. I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone else. The other downside of this tour was that the focus seemed to be on Turkish-speaking customers and not English-speaking guests.

great tour!!! the bus was really comfortable and the meeting point easy to get to... the best part was our guide, Nurshan, he was very nice and patiente with everyone and gave us a lot of information. The only thing that wasnt great was the place for having luch, they didnt have many vegetarian options but everything else was perfect

Amazing Day Tour from Baku with Said! We had a fantastic day exploring Baku's surroundings with our guide Said. In just one day, we visited a few incredible spots — Qubustan rock carvings, the unique mud volcanoes, Fire Temple, and the burning hillside of Fire Mountain. Everything was well-paced and smoothly organized. The mini-bus was super comfortable, and Said’s explanations in both English and Russian were clear and informative. What really impressed us was his dedication — he spent most of the day standing while giving commentary, making sure everyone could hear and understand. Plus, he helped us take some amazing photos along the way (thank you for the great angles, Said!). Highly recommended for anyone visiting Baku — smile tour gives you a perfect mix of nature, history, and unique Azerbaijani culture, all in one day.

I joined the day trip on 06.04 and really enjoyed the experience! 1. The organisation of the tour was excellent , everything was well-planned and on time. 2. The transport was very comfortable and the whole trip went smoothly. 3. Our guides were amazing — we would especially like to thank Nurşen 🌸, who guided us during the Gobustan tour, and Vusal 🌸, who was with us on the Old Baku tour. On behalf of myself and my friends, thank you both for your kindness and great energy! 4. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! I’m happy I chose Smile Azerbaijan and I’d definitely recommend your tours to others. I’d love to join another tour with you at the first opportunity. Thanks again for the great memories!
