Taste Venice's Soul: Authentic Cicchetti & Wine Bar Hop

This was a small group trip as we were six in total. It was an amazing tour and a tremendous overview of the city of Venice with exceptional food and wine!

Alessia was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and very sweet. Even though we were a few minutes late, we were able to catch up and join the group thanks to Camilla. Great experience!

I was part of a small group of 3 for my tour with Giada, which I feel like made the experience even better as it was more intimate and personal. I really liked that we went to places that were off of the main streets, so it was a bit quieter and relaxed vibe. It was also great that the majority of the chosen locations had been family owned for generations. The Traghetto gondola ride was cool as well. By the time the tastings ended, I was full, so like others have mentioned, try to take the tour on an empty or close to empty stomach. Also make sure you’re open to trying new things. I think everything except for the Tiramisu were foods I never would’ve chosen otherwise. It’s also okay if you end up not liking a food either. It’s all part of the experience. I would also highly recommend taking the tour on your first evening there if possible. I found it a good way to get oriented for my time in Venice, especially not being super familiar with cicchetti.

What a fun evening! Olympia was an excellent guide. The food and beverages were excellent. We had so much fun.

It’s a tour where you get to leisurely amble around beautiful little bars & sample Venetian delights.

It isn’t a proper meal. Rather than a lot of bread appetizers. Very full afterwards. Lots of knowledge and good tips about Venice. Tour guide was great!

We have experienced numerous excellent food tours in different cities, and this tour matched our expectations. Our guide, Olympia, was a lot of fun, and helped guide us through many different street foods and drinks. By the end of the evening, we felt like locals. Being introduced to new foods opened up lunch opportunities for us in the days following. The tour is a great way to see Venice and learn about the cuisine. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was so fun with Oli mpia. We learned a lot more about Venice and its history than I expected while we tasted many unique and delicious items from Venice’s local cuisine.

The whole tour was great. We did everything that was described in the tour and more. Our guide, Andrea gave us historical information about the areas as well.
