Sheki: Azerbaijan's 4 Regions - Full-Day Epic Journey

Great trip with guide Ahmad. He’s been looking after the group well and his knowledge about the places and good hospitality truly made a difference.

I joined the sheki tour just the night before it started. Thought this is big company with soso service but turns out its all good. Our guide Nursan is waiting at the starting point ahead, and we started early than other groups, which made our journey more comfortable. She speaks good english and knows lots of the history and knowledge, and the explanation is clear enough to understand. Our trip went well and on time, everyone is happy. I stayed behind in sheki.

This was a great way to see the countryside and visit a variety of places in Azerbaijan. Our guide was informative and able to explain the history behind each site quite well. I learned quite a bit about the country during this tour. I was pleased with all of the locations that we visited, except for the waterfall and the lake. The waterfall (which has an additional entry fee) is in a theme park and is totally artificial, and we made it to the lake (also in a theme park) after sunset, so there was very little to see. This tour could easily drop these two locations for something more significant, and be just as good.

Sayeed is a wonderful guide! His passion, enthusiasm, kindness and personal touch made our experience truly memorable!

13 hours to spend 45 mi in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site!!! The guide spoke 6.5 English in a scale of 1 to 10. The lunch at the restaurant the tour company recommended was expensive, and DID NOT TAKE CREDIT CARD from Usa Banks, my friends from SPAIN use his credit card with no problem. The worse part is they blame me or the BANK, which is FALSE

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Smile Azerbaijan Tour on my trip to Sheki. Everything was perfectly organized, and the whole journey felt smooth and enjoyable. A special mention to our guide Sayeed and Mr. Aziz – they were simply outstanding! Their knowledge, warmth, and friendliness made the tour so much more memorable. They explained the history and culture in such an engaging way while also making sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. The Sheki tour itself was beyond expectations – from the stunning scenery to the rich cultural heritage, every moment was just too good. I highly recommend Smile Azerbaijan Tour to anyone visiting Azerbaijan.

Is a very long day setting off 8am and not returning back to Baku until at least 10pm so be prepared for that. Some of the visits could be cut out, the waterfall isn’t worth it and adds a lot of time on to the day. Fatima is very friendly and knowledgeable thank you for your insights on the day. The restaurant stop is very expensive and not worth it, my tip is to go to the one over the road it is far nicer and better value for money.

One of the most wonderful coincidences I experienced in the Old City was coming across this company. From the sales representative on the street, to the warm hospitality at their office, to the perfectly timed trip, everything exceeded my expectations. Their prices were also very competitive compared to other companies. The trip itself was falntastic in every way. I would like to especially thank and recognize our tour guide, Eldar, for his kindness, professionalism, and creativity in making the journey truly memorable.

We did a one-day trip to the five regions in the Caucasus, and it was a fantastic experience. It was really nice to see a different side of Azerbaijan outside of Baku – the landscapes, villages, and culture gave us such a broader perspective of the country. Our guides, Eldar and a colleague, were both excellent – very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They made the trip smooth and engaging, sharing insights along the way. We truly enjoyed this day and learned so much and had fun. Highly recommend this tour to discover more of Azerbaijan in just a day!
