Come jump on a city tour with us to cruise through some of the 15 top city highlights including Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Hayes Valley, Golden Gate Park, the Haight/Ashbury, Western Addition, Civic Center and The Marina. Also, you get 3 stops for photo ops at landmarks such as The Golden Gate Bridge, Painted Ladies and Palace Of Fine Arts (shhhh ...on occasion you might see us driving down that crooked Lombard Street if traffic permits). Fun fun fun! Bonus is you will be transported in one of our vintage VW buses while rocking out to classic hit songs of the 60's-70's (Pearl, Poppy, Skye and Rosie). Please arrive at the pick up location 10 min prior so we can depart on time as we have lots to cover in the city. Thank you!

Guides Clay and Josh were engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and seemed like they genuinely care about providing their guests a great experience. They also provided useful hints and tips for restaurants, bars, and local events. The tunes added greatly to the tour!

The tour covered so many interesting facets of San Fran. Clay and Josh added personal notes which enhanced the entire experience. They were very friendly and complimented each other well as tour guides. We enjoyed the way the tour covered different neighborhoods of San Fran and highlighted the unique aspects of each. Honestly, the best city tour I've ever been on.

Fantastic tour in 60s style VW bus. Guide was friendly and local, so able to give us the benefit of all the knowledge and info you wouldn't get on a big bus. Only 4 on our trip, but even if it's full, it still feels like a private tour. Not to be missed when visiting SF. 5*****

A great two hours in the city. Jack is a fun and knowledgeable guide who loves his city and you’ll likely fall in love with San Francisco too.

The hippie van tour is a good experience ..delightful ..unique ..van tour through SF hippies...would enjoy an additional trip

We expected a full bus, but ended up with a private tour for my husband and me. What a treat especially with our San Franciscofile, Jack. He had great stories, history, and knowledge about the city, architecture, the neighborhoods, famous people who once lived in the city, etc. Jack was also easy about my stops for photography. The VW bus was so cute and very comfortable. We already liked San Francisco, but thanks to Jack and the Painted Ladies SF City Tour, we love SF!

What a fabulous tour! I have been living in the Bat Area for 20+ years and learned so much from our fabulous tour guide Jim! He was knowledgeable, witty, and drove the cutest little VW Bus! Everything about our tour was fabulous! Thank you for creating a memory making experience. Heart you Jim! ✌🏽

The Painted Ladies tour was such a groovy experience. Jim was knowledgeable, engaging, and warm. His hilarious dad jokes and personal anecdotes made the tour lively and memorable. I highly recommend this tour.

I would recommend this tour to everyone; such fun from beginning to end. The Guide, Caio, was knowledgeable, fun and kind.

Caio was our tour guid, very fun and personable. We enjoyed the tour . Highly recommend it. Car was very clean . Loved it so much!!
