Exclusive Cape Winelands: Private Luxury Wine & Culture Tour

It was a great day catered to us. We went to 4 wineries each with great wines and tastings of cheese, biting, chocolates and lunch. Werner was knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Due to seasonal closures and special events, some of the vineyards listed on the itinerary were closed. Our guide (Mike) suggested other great vineyards to explore. We visited Fairview Wine and Cheese, Boschendal Wine Estate, Tokara, Waterford Estate, Stark-Conde, Spier, and a few more. We samples many tasty wines and had some delicious treats. It was a very fun and enjoyable day.

Started our holiday in Africa in Capetown, with Mike as our guide. He went above and beyond to show us the beauty of the region, and as a native Capetownian his knowledge (and love) of the land was extraordinary. The wineries we visited were all terrific, with tastes and personalities unique to each. Wonderful start to vacation!

Absolutely amazing! Mike was our driver for the day, and he planned the perfect day. Mike is so knowledgeable of Cape Town, activities within the area, and of course the wineries. We got to experience so many different wineries that each had their own unique thing to offer. I was debating doing the local wine tram or hiring a private driver and I am so thankful we hired the private driver. I could not recommend Mike more! We will dream about this day for years to come!

The absolute BEST day!! Mike was our driver for the day and he planned such an amazing day! He was so knowledgeable about Cape Town, the surrounding activities in the area, and of course the wineries! We got such a unique experience seeing multiple different wineries that had different things to offer. I contemplated doing the local wine tram versus doing a private driver and I am so happy I went with the private driver. I could not recommend Mike more as a tour guide! He made our day the best it could possibly be. We will dream about that day for years to come!

We had a wonderful day with Mike Klerck. It started with coffee at a unique cafe before heading to the wine district. As it was a Sunday some wineries were closed but with his knowledge, we visited 4 very different wineries. Some had wonderful views or a different way of presenting their wines providing an unique experience at each one As well as being a guide, he was a great driver and a great conversational with his unique background. We would recommend Mike without hesitation and would certainly use him for any tours in the Cape Town region.

Werner was an amazing guide! My wife and I had a great day out and visited 4 vineyards throughout the day. Werner was very helpful and flexible throughout the day and took us to some fantastic wineries. He is also very knowledgeable about the area, the history and was a great story teller! We’d highly recommend him and the tour itself!

I had a great time at the Winelands. My guide Mike was flexible and spontaneous - we went out on Sunday and not all places were opened, but we still hit many great places. At the end we hit 5 different vineyards. Since it’s a private tour there’s no itinerary. I did not pace myself with wine and food, and ended up forgot to have lunch. So I’d recommend to plan properly for lunch and explore wine and cheese pairings, or chocolate pairings.

If you want a real wine tour with good wine and beautiful scenery, you need to do this tour with Mike. He knows all the best spots and is a fun tour guide.
