Lucca by Bike: Unforgettable Bites & Hidden Gems

Pleasant way to see much of Lucca. Easy ride - bikes are single speed not electric. Going up a couple of ramps might challenge some, but walking up the short ramps was always an option. Tour leader was a local and spoke English very well. Glad we ended up with the 2:30pm tour so we could explore the shops in the morning and ride while most shops were closed. The itinerary took us around the perimeter wall and inside the central city on narrow streets that didn't have much vehicle traffic. Quite a snack - a beer/soft drink and charcuterie/cheese. We could have done with just the gelato, but sitting outside for a break was enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience our whole family had! Even though it was a very busy Sat. in Lucca, we were able to ride through the streets and up on the wall in a comfortable easy pace. Our guide was amazing and taught us a lot about the history of Lucca. Enjoying a mixed board of meats and cheese as well as a gelato at the end, made for a perfect ride. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Luca was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was fun for young and old alike. There was time to relax and enjoy city and we learned a great deal about the history of Tuscany. Would definitely recommend for others.

Fabulous way to see Lucca on top and inside of the walls! Our guide Sarah was pleasant and knowlegable about Lucca history and the sites we were seeing. Biking around the areas made it fun. The food and gelato was an extra treat! We would highly recommend this tour to get an overview of Lucca and its history.

This was a great activity for our first day in Lucca. We learned so much about the city and were able to cover more ground by bike. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. Our whole group would highly recommend this tour.

We arrived in Lucca on Monday nigth and went on the Lucca Bikes and Bites private tour with Sarah. It was a wonderful way to get an over view of inside the walls of Lucca as well as the history. Very informative and enjoyable! Sarah was a pleasant and very knowegeable guide as we biked on top and around the walls and streets of Lucca. The bikes were safe and very easy to ride through town. Delicious food samples along the way.. I would highly recommend this tour!

So fun and easy to do! Luka was our guide and he was fantastic!! We did the bikes and bites. Had a great stop for wine and snacks. Also a stop for gelato. Luka was informative and fun! Highly recommend!!
