Breathtaking Blue Hole & Bohemian Dahab Day Trip from Sharm

I’ve been to Egypt before and seen a lot of the usual touristy places. I really wanted a trip out that wasn’t too commercial and took in some of the landscapes of Egypt. It was interesting to learn a bit more about Bedouin life, and they must be hard as nails to live in such a challenging environment. The natural geography of the desert, the canyon, and coastline didn’t disappoint. The driver was personable and the guide was very talented, speaking to the group in 3 different languages. Poverty was evident and there were a lot of people with their hand out, it tainted the experience a bit for me because it didn’t just stop in the places we visited. We were assertively asked for tips for the driver, the guide, and to buy photos from a photographer who comes along on the day. I don’t mind tipping, in fact, we mostly do, but I do mind feeling pressured, and particularly pressured to buy photos that we didn’t want @ £30. The hygiene was also pretty non-existent and despite taking hand gel, and being careful to stay hydrated, I had a bad tummy the next day, which probably would have spoiled the rest of my holiday had I not brought medication with me. Expect to pay for snorkelling equipment, quad bikes that aren’t very well maintained, and camel rides on camels that are seriously underweight. Shopping (papyrus, fragrance, clothes, and jewellery), hawkers at the canyon, and photos.

The trip was truely amazing! One of the best I have ever been to!! Our guid also was very friendly, fun, helpfull, good at english and other langueges! Wow thank you!!! It was unforgettable!!

The trip was really nice as we enjoyed riding the camels 🐪, snorkelling in blue hole, quad bike safari, coloured canyon jeep tour. Our guide Saeed was very nice and helpful.

Good experience, lots included with our package. Tour guide Mohammed was very friendly and knowledgeable. Quad biking was excellent and camel riding was a fun experience. Snorkelling, was great fun lots to see. Had lots of photo opportunities and the lunch provided was beautiful too. Highly recommended.
