This was the BEST Third Reich Walking Tour!!! Don’t hesitate to book this tour when you’re in Berlin.

On a very wet, windy Friday with hail as well, I joined a walking tour of Jewish Berlin with two others and our Guide Nir. It was a fascinating tour and Nir being so knowledgeable, personable and inclusive made the tour really enjoyable despite the dreadful weather. In fact the three of us rearranged our Saturday so we could be with Nir again on a walking tour of the Third Reich. This was a large group and we saw amongst other things, the Holocaust memorial, Hitler’s bunker, some of the old Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie. Despite the size of the group Nir managed to involve everyone in the conversations, to keep everyone interested and to keep us all together. Congratulations to Sandemans for having such a great tour guide and for providing such interesting tours.

Highly recommend this walking tour. The guide Marcel was excellent and very informative. Most of the 2.5 hr tour was by foot, with a short S-bahn ride.

My husband and I attended the Third Reich tour with Marcel and had a great time. Marcel was a brilliant tour guide - very informative, friendly and kept the tour moving at a great pace. The tour content was really interesting and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn a bit more about this beautiful city and this time in history.

Definetly a must-do. Our tour guide gave an interesting perspective about the Berlin and its history. I'm sorry I can't remember the guide's name.

Arrived for the tour and our guide was super friendly. However, then we realised there was around 45 people on the tour even though website said maximum of 10. Turns out, the free walking tour at 11am had been cancelled so these people were invited to join the 2pm ‘paid’ tour for free. We had paid 16 euros each yet the majority of the people were on there for free, so we could barely hear the guide. And then after 10 minutes, the tour was called off as there were protests through Berlin. The guide then promised to “email the company to get refunds to those who paid”, but I am yet to hear back from them. Not the tour guides fault, but pretty poor experience.

Really good guide, extreme knowledge of History and open to take all questions of the people. The guide nickname was Tina.

Hannah, our guide was very pleasant, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and made the tour a great experience for our family

This was probably the best informative tour I have ever took. She gave a quick refresher of the history before then told why. Hannah was just excellent. If you get a chance do this tour, yes it is the dark side however, still in history. Ask for Hannah.

Our guide was incredibly informative about Berlin during the Communist period. He even shared stories and memories of living in West Berlin as a young child at the time. A great tour if you want to learn more about living in Berlin during the time of the communists.
