The Maullín River is one of the great free rivers in the country and known as the Amazon of Chile, it still preserves much of its native vegetation. This is one of the greatest singularities of the river, since that its bed is invaded by a swampy forest. Swamp forests are extraordinary ecosystems, which develop on wetlands, hosting a rich biodiversity in which wild flora and fauna of forests and aquatic ecosystems coexist.

Don’t even think about it, just book it. This was a fantastic tour and such a great way to spend the day outside. Andres was such a great guide, incredibly nice and made sure we were comfortable and having fun. The river is beautiful and is very calm so it’s just a relaxing trip down the river and so peaceful. They gave us a wetsuit and life jacket so all you really need is a swimsuit and towel for the day. The snack half way through and pizza at the end were very nice as well. 100% recommend if you are in Puerto Varas area for a few days.

We did the kayak tour with Felipe and had so much fun! Amazing tour guide with lots of knowledge about the environment and the wildlife and incredibly fun to talk to with all his outdoor experience.

Amazing experience! The nature is breathtaking. The river is nice and calm and easy to go by Kajak. Our Guide was very kind and supportive. Highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful experiences in my life. In this tour you could see native birds and trees; Esteban (our guide) was so kind, patient and gave us all the instructions (it was my second time using a kayak). This tour is ideal for going with friends, couple or even a family plan for disconnecting from your cell phone and connect with the nature, outdoors lovers. We close and celebrate then with a delicious hamburger in Hasenburger :P

The best experience you could have in the Puerto Varas/ Puerto Montt region!!! We went twice kayaking by the Maullin river, the tour guides are really profesional, the scenery spectacular!!!, we learn about native trees, birds, history of the place etc... The second time we went with children (from 2 to 12) and we all had a great time...A trip full of surprises...a MUST DO!

Experienced Esteban took us to the outlet of the Llanquihue lake and guided us through the mystical passages of the mangrovelike river Maullin. He provided intetesting insights about the region's wildlife and history and was a knowledgable and nice company throughout the whole trip. - happy to have booked our tour there!

We had a wonderful time with Cahuil canoeing down the river. We were 7 adults aged 20 something to 70 and were looking for a unique adventure for our family. Our guides were kind and helpful and we felt completely safe at all times. The chocolate bars at the half way point helped. Thoroughly recommended. Great memories.

We chose the kayaking excursion on the Maullin River. It was great, the river was beautiful with very clear water. We saw lots of birds on the way and also mangroves with long roots in the water. Both our guides were very friendly and they arranged the trip perfectly. At the end we got delicious burgers for lunch (vegetarian on our request).

It was the first time we did a kayak ride and they had a lot of willingness and patience to help you in the activity, they pass all the equipment and are super friendly! Very nice place and little animals that can be observed along the river path!

When they talk about the magic of the south this is what I imagine, being with nature in the deep, the river and the views are very beautiful, the guide Andrés was very attentive and friendly, we hope to repeat this experience ✨
