This is an absolutely huge Souk with over 1400 shops. It's very different from bazaars in Turkey the shopkeepers are not pushy, just say no thank you or we'll come back and they are fine. The bartering experience is a friendly and jokey one. The freshly squeezed juice is a must, absolutely delicious and refreshing. Wear comfortable shoes, we gave ourselves a couple of hours which was adequate to pick up a few bargains and gifts .

With 10,000 stalls you can find almost anything here. Easy to navigate as the aisles are fairly spacious. Lots of good deals. Lovely spices, produce, handicrafts and olives. Great for just browsing too.

The souk was definitely better than I had anticipated. Myself and my partner came here as part of a city tour and then again later on our trip by ourselves. I was not expecting much maybe just a large market with people trying to sell you stuff. To a degree that’s what it’s however it a cultural melting pot seeing the ins and outs of another culture. And watching people from round the world interact with it. My partner bought a lot of things there and left me to do the bartering. This was something I was not sure about however once I got into the swing of it I felt like I had been doing it my whole life. This for me is a must if you are in Agadir I definitely would come back

Souk El Had in Agadir is one of Morocco’s largest and most accessible markets, boasting around 6,000 stalls spread across a well-organized layout. Unlike the maze-like souks of Marrakesh or Fes, this market features 12 numbered gates, making it easier for visitors to navigate and regroup if separated .

This market wasn't really our cup of tea as we are not interested in "genuine fake goods," lol. We visited as part of a city tour, and it was, for me , very boring. We were given an hour to look around and were bored after 20 minutes. It is the biggest market in Africa, which is a negative as there are so many stalls which are of no interest to visitors. I expected the market to be outdoors with lots of local food options and the smell of spices. It just wasn't our scene, but it would suit others who want to buy cheap knock-offs.

The **Souk El Had** in Agadir is a large market offering a variety of products: spices, clothing, crafts, and souvenirs. However, the experience can be disappointing for some visitors. Many counterfeit products, pushy vendors, cleanliness issues, and an overwhelming atmosphere for some tourists.

Went to this Souk in Agadir, which is a 7 minute drive from our resort. The souk isn't too big and not as busy as the famous one in Marrakesh, which was a positive. We contacted Mustapha Filali(+212668439143) before we arrived, and once we got there, he was waiting for us... he took us straight to the shops that sold the items we were after, and he was extremely patient and kind. We got everything we wanted at reasonable prices, but more importantly was the fact that the quality of the products was all very good. From spices to soap, to scrub, to clothing and leather goods, all the items were very good quality. Mustapha helped us to save a lot of time trying to find where to buy the items we wanted. If you want a stress free and quick shopping in Agadir, Mustapha is highly recommended 👌🏾 👍🏽 😉.

The Souk was everything I imagined and more, with over 5 thousand stores across miles, it was an experience that shouldn’t be missed. I wish we could have spent even more time there, but I would definitely visit again.

We had a great time at the Agadir markets with Mustapha as our guide. He identified the best shops for us to visit and made the tour bespoke based on our interests. When looking to buy items and haggling for the price, Mustapha was supportive and ensured we got good value. Most importantly he made us feel safe and made the trip memorable! I would highly recommend Mustapha as a tour guide and wish him all the best.
