Azores Crystal Waters: Glass Boat & Snorkel Discovery

Great captain! He was so funny and personable and made sure to talk to everyone on the trip. The islet is beautiful and we would definitely recommend this company!

We had a really good time on and off the boat. The kids were really excited to see all the fish. It was the perfect length (around 3h in total). We loved that we had someone answering our questions about the marine life and who would point out cool fish!

Edmundo and his team should win an award for how nice they are. What tour do you get a boat captain AND a marine biologist to help you understand what you are truly seeing! His entire team and setup are the best. Seeing the inlet up close was so beautiful and teaming with sealife.

This was a great trip. We were kitted out at the dock with wet suits. There is one toilet and one shower so we changed into our swimsuits at the nearby toilets before arriving. Staff in the “shop” were friendly and helpful. While the boat was taken out to the islet we were given some loc ask history then on arriving Alex, the marine biologist, introduced us to the different types of fish we would see when snorkelling. The skipper carefully moved the boat around so everyone could see. We were kitted out with flippers that fitted and given safety briefing. I haven’t done much snorkelling but was given reassurance. We were offered life vests if we wanted these. I felt safe, well informed and well looked after throughout and loved seeing the different fish. Alex was good at pointing out things of interest. We really enjoyed our trip.

Very friendly crew, food vibes, good wine and very informative trip. Nice to know which ocean life you are looking at while snorkeling, because of the explanation of the marine biologist beforehand.

It wasn’t my favourite activity. We went around the islet. We went snorkeling for quite a while but we were expecting to see much more . There was too many people on the boat.

Certainly value for your money! Amazing snorkling experience with lots of exotic beautifull fish to see. Very professional guide who has a master degree in maritime biology and explained what we clearly could see through the glass boat. Recommended experience. You should do this!

We had an amazing time. The captain and marine biologist were so friendly and did an amazing job making sure everyone was having a good time. I definitely recommend doing this if you’re on the fence!

It was a wonderful experience. Good music, such a nice people, incredible views and a lot of fun. I would recommend anyone doing this experience when you are in Sao Miguel :)) A special thank you for mister Edmundo for being such a nice person with us

We were a family of 4 adults. We had a wonderful time. The guide, Alex is a marine biologist, with a lot of knowledge on the marine life, the flora and the history of the area. We had a lot of time on the boat and in the water (way beyond the 2 hours) and saw many fish. The boat captain was super friendly and hosted us wonderfully. A surprise at the end, he invited us to drink some port... Very sweet finale to a great experience. Very highly recommended!
