Our fantastic tour guide Lyn had lived here all her life so her local knowledge of Darwin and the First Nation people was incredible and filled in the time it took to get out to Litchfield National Park. We saw Termite mounds, and waterfalls, swam in fresh water pools - yes we had more than one swim! And then the best Croc tour I’ve been on. We were on a a smaller boat ( quite safe with grilles all around and holes for taking photos) and Rex ( an ex ranger) was, like Lyn, so interesting. He gave us an insight as to why we shouldn’t cull Crocodiles in Australia- and I’m now a believer! This was a huge day but A+++ and thankful we didn’t have to drive. I’ll never forget it!!

Absolutely beautiful day taking in the sights, water holes and sensational vistas in the Litchfield National Park. Mike was an excellent Guide/Driver, extremely knowledgeable, with a good sense of humour. He regaled us with so much information as we drove along, which made the kilometres go by so quickly. The water holes were so refreshing and the lunch provide was both fresh and enjoyable Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Highly recommend this tour with Outback Dreaming

What a great day out! The whole day from start to finish was extremely well organised and lots of fun. Our guide for the day was Mark who was not only polite , professional and enthusiastic , he took great care of everyone , ensuring we were safe , fed , watered and looked after. We swam in beautiful waterfalls , visited the amazing termite mounds , spotted bats , spiders and many different birds while all the time receiving a fascinating commentary full of interesting information. Marks insight into the park itself , the wildlife , aboriginal culture and Darwin life and history was so interesting it truly made the day ! The final stop for a croc trip on the river was just fantastic and again as well as being a lot of fun and an amazing experience was full of great information about this amazing creature . All in all a wonderful day out and thoroughly recommended . Thank you !

Fantastic from start to finish. Picked and dropped off at my hotel This is a FIBI F It Book It Swimming in rock pools and under waterfalls I couldn’t participate in some activities and our guide Mike made sure I didn’t miss out He made sure I knew how to access the areas at my pace. Encouraging all of us to keep hydrated and supplying ice cold water to top up our water bottles Great safe driver he was a fountain of information about each site and things we discovered along the way. Lots of toilets stops And finishing day with a spectacular up close and personal crocodile tour Delicious lunch and snacks A day to remember. Thank you Mike and Off-road Dreaming tours

Just wow!! We had a fabulous day touring the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park with Lyn our tour guide. Lyn was an absolutely sensational guide as her knowledge of the history of Darwin, its people and of Litchfield and its flora and fauna was truly mindblowing. As we were part of a smaller tour group, Lyn was able to modify the tour for the 5 of us and she readily answered all of our questions. Lyn made an effort to engage with our young son, which made the trip extra memorable for us as a family. Swimming under the waterfalls was a beautiful and relaxing experience. Then Lyn drove us over to meet Rex, who took us on a cruise of the Adelaide River to get a close up view of the Jumping Crocodiles. This too was an awesome experience which gave us new insights into these ancient creatures. We would highly recommend doing this one day tour with Off Road Dreaming particularly if you are in the Darwin region for a short period of time. We found Off Road Dreaming easy to deal with and to be very responsive to our enquiries. Plus if you happen to get Lyn as your guide, you are bound to have an amazing day! Thanks again Lyn.
