Unforgettable D-Day: Normandy American Beaches Full Day Tour

This was a great tour to take to hit all the major spots in Normandy. Wish we had more time to visit more of the museums

From meeting point to drop off we were informed and engaged by James His enthusiasm and knowledge of this area was absorbed by all and certainly appreciated. Such a complex historical event was overwhelming, but a necessary challenge for us. The flag lowering ceremony at the U.S. cemetery was very emotional but also a must to witness. All day tour, lots of information which was exciting for a history buff like me. Plenty of time to explore the monuments and the beaches. At the American Cemetery there is a beautiful exhibit. Wish I had a little more time there.

What a memorable day! Our guide, David, was so knowledgeable about the landings and communities impacted. We covered a great deal in the full day tour at a brisk but reasonable pace. The small group was wonderful.

Excellent tour - just as described. Guide was very knowledgeable, and provided details that exceeded expectations. Vehicle was comfortable. We had a group of 4 and they picked us up at our hotel, which was much appreciated. There is really more to experience than can be done in a day. Glad we did not opt for a half day tour - or one from a more distant city.

It was engaging and informative. Our guide, Adrian was learned, witty & terrific. Our only museum stop was at Utah Beach and was great. There were stops at Omaha Beach and a bevy of other stops (e.g., the American Cemetery & Pointe-Du-Hoc, that will never be forgotten).

This tour was exactly what we needed to see/hear the highlights of Normandy. Our tour guide, James, made our day special with his pleasant personality and depth and breath of knowledge about the area/battles/etc. Would strongly recommend it !!!!
