Divine Duo: Assisi & Orvieto Exclusive Day Trip from Rome

This was an excellent tour. Our driver/ guide Giulio was very good and took great care of us. He was knowledgeable on both attractions we visited and the region in general. He recommended a wonderful restaurant between both locations and actually spent more time with us than was indicated on the description of the tour. It was a great day.

Was much more than we expected. So much history to experience. The churches were awesome and commentary was informative. The only negative was the van. Was not comfortable for 5 adults since there was a the tour guide and driver. It was not clean by my standards.

Assisi and Orvieto are fantastic towns to visit. Our plan in hiring a guide was to secure someone with historical and regional knowledge. Elisa was pleasant but seemed to have only a basic level historical facts. She complained repeatedly about her throat and voice after a long tour the previous day. We would have appreciated more.

Amazing trip. Took a long time to write this review (November 2019) but it was a once in a lifetime trip that is remembered long after. Our guide Francesca was amazing.

Serena was truly excellent. Very engaging and informative. From the moment we were picked up, she answered all questions and gave us a history of the area.

A super experience. Mariella guided the four of us through Assisi and Orvieto, and we saw and learned so much that we could not have discovered on our own. The four of us were able to quickly access key sites much more effectively than any of the large tours which I saw. Worth the $$ - highly recommend.

We had a really wonderful time with Nunzia. My partner and I ended up being the only two people on this excursion and it was absolutely worth it. Nunzia was hyper-engaged and managed to keep us entertained and informed from the moment we got started. She came to meet us at our apartment and the pickup and drop off situation couldn’t have been easier. The weather unfortunately was not so great but a good portion of the tour included indoor excursions that let us hide from the weather. Despite getting a little cold and wet, I’d take this tour again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great day!

Paid for a semi private tour and were treated to a private tour. Had a driver and separate guide. Both were congenital. Great way to see mystical cities of Assisi and Orvieto. Guide gave full explanation of where we were going and history of sights. Guide and driver arrived early. It was a hot day, wish bottled water was included. Also explained sights driving to Assisi.

Our tour guide was below average in quality of presentation and demeanor. The places were wonderful in spite of her attitude.
