Epic Atlas Journey: Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou Day Trip

This tour is basically a way to be transported to Quarzazate and the Atlas Studios. It's a 3½ hour drive each way. Doing it DIY would have entailed lots of planning and bookings. Our group was 7 only so we had a mini van, quite a tight fit. Entering Atlas Studios gave one the impression of entering an Indiana Jones/ Star Wars movie set. Lunch was in Quarzazate town. Next was a visit to Kasbah Ben Haddou. Everything was fine except that the itinerary stated a guide would be provided in Ben Haddou. Contrary to this commitment, the driver informed us through WhatsApp the night before that the group needed to cough up EUR30 for a guide if we wanted one. Sure feels like the tour company doesn't honour their obligations according to the brochure. The drive back was another 3½ hours and in total we spent 12 hours.

Excelent one day trip from Marakesh: Atlas mountains, Ait Ben Haddou and Atlas film studios is a fantastic experience not only for movie fans. Our driver and guide Bouja was very nice and we considered him like a friend at the end of the trip.

A fabulous day with fatima and miloud .We were kept well informed all day and the bus was kept at a perfect temperature. We had excellent communication also before departure. All visits were enjoyable and very informative. A fantastic family day out

Great trip, pick up from our hotel was prompt and the driver contacted us by whatsapp when he arrived. We were then taken to meet the main minibus, so there wasn't too much time taken doing pickups. The minibus was clean, comfortable and modern with wifi, usb ports and aircon. Abdul our guide was knowledgeble, friendly and helpful. Making sure we had opportunities for photos and ensuring people knew what was happening and when. He even sent us some group photos afterwards. Ait Benhaddou was amazing worth the trip, and the views from the mountain pass were incredible. Ideally we would have liked more time at Ait Benhaddou, and we didn't really rate the Atlas Studio tour. It was a very long day, and time could have been saved here without really missing much. Generally a very good trip.

Great English speaking tour guide and driver. They were also able to accommodate our last minute change of pick up location.

We did the day trip to Ouarzazate and it was more than worth it. our guide Mourad is a great guy. we had a very nice trip thanks to him. very good explanation of everything. super nice man. Highly recommended to take the trip with him!

Rashid shone out from our other three guides. A pleasant, engaging personality and never without a smile, even when encountering ‘challenging’ members of our group. His command of languages was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent ambassador for your company. Our driver Miloud was also great and they worked very well as a pair.
