This has to the highlight of my trip in Morocco, not only seeing the history of the Berber tribes but getting to spend the night in the Sahara! A big thank you to our host Simo for making this happen, shukran ya akhi!

This was our first time in Morocco and we absolutely loved it! This 3-day tour was truly enjoyable and well worth the money. Youssef Ali was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the places and culture. He answered our questions & made good recommendations. Your company is lucky to have him! We definitely recommend this tour!

Highly recommend this tour if you want to adventure in the desert, see incredible views of many beautiful valleys and mountains, and explore several kasbahs and historical sights. Our tour guide Mohammed was fantastic. He made sure everyone was comfortable and tried really hard to make our experience the best it could be. I am very appreciative of him. My only negative feedback was about the hotel on night 2, which was way below the line for me (dirty & old). But I actually thought the luxury camp site was nicer than I expected!

Our guide Mohammed was the best! From the gorgeous lush valleys to the high Atlas Mountains, we saw it all. Unforgettable desert music, delicious Moroccan feasts, three days we’ll never forget. It is a lot of ground to cover, so be mindful that means a lot of time in the van. Great value for the price.

Although there are so many similar choices, we chose this one because of the great reviews and it was truly amazing, due to our exceptional guide Hanan! She was incredibly intelligent, well-spoken, thoughtful, kind, accommodating, generous, friendly, patient, and inspiring! Because of her amazing language skills paired with a passion to teach and a willingness to share, we had an infinitely richer experience than we would have on our own. We especially appreciated learning about Amazigh culture from her. Bravo to Hanan for having the courage to lend her skills to this male-dominated profession. If you are lucky enough to have Hanan as your guide, you are guaranteed to have an authentic and enriching time. The minor cons of the tour that others have complained about were the same for us - the food was fairly bad, the driver was dangerous and took so many chances, the accommodations along the way were not great…but there were insignificant compared with the overall experience, and all told if felt like a great value for the money. Honestly, I would’ve paid more just to spend those days with Hanan! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! P.S. beware the guys selling peanuts at the monkey stop in Ifrane - don’t be stupid like I was and let them grab your phone “to take your picture” - they will scam you and steal your info from your phone!

There is a lot of driving. The first day pickup from Fez to the desert dune camel ride and tents was 9 1/2 hours. We arrive around sunset and the scene was chaotic. It wasn’t clear what luggage to take and what to leave; you simply needed an overnight bag but it wasn’t clear. We then immediately got on camels for the thirty minute rides to the tents. I felt exhausted by the time dinner was served.

The overall experience in the desert and the other places we visited was great! Our driver/guide and the other guides we had over the 3 days were also fantastic. From the other hand I prefer to be treated as a guest and not as a tourist! I don’t like being given restaurant options with only options the set menus with fixed prices and exactly the same food every time in a buffet style. And I don’t like visiting places where all they want from me is to buy something. Both the tent experience in the desert and the hotel room could be cleaner overall and more comfortable. Having the standard tour and not the luxury one doesn’t mean not clean or uncomfortable! I would definitely recommend the 2N/3D tour but make sure you know the details of the driving hours per day, the facilities you are staying at and the meals options.
