It was a fabulous experience. Dillon was an excellent and knowledgeable guide - and Brent who was in training. One thing I discussed with Dillon is that I believe it should be mandatory to have cleats/crampons for the walk to the monkeys as the path was very icy.

This was a fabulous experience with lots for everyone. From the tour guides Brent and Devon to the lovely bus driver, plenty of insightful information throughout the day. From temple, to sake tasting, gourmet lunch and then of course the snow monkeys were incredible. Some fitness is definitely required for the money park walk to get in and out of the park. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. We travelled from Tokyo just for the tour and it was AMAZING.

This tour is set at a good pace as it doesn’t try to pack too much into it. Our guide Kei was very friendly and cheerful, and flexible to everyone’s needs/interests. Highly recommend if you want to sample a bit of Nagano before visiting the snow monkeys!

Definitely recommend. Kevin the guide is super knowledgeable and was happy to answer all of our questions. The Monkey park was beautiful and we saw tons of monkeys. Definitely recommend the apple pie from the nearby cafe at the monkey park!
